A puncture repair fluid container includes: a container body including a storage portion for storing a puncture repair fluid and an opening portion provided at one end of the storage portion; and a cap mounted to the opening portion. The cap includes an introduction path for introducing compressed air from outside; a discharge path for discharging the puncture repair fluid to the outside; a switching valve for switching two paths disposed between the introduction path and the discharge path; and a switching knob for operating the switching valve. A jig for rotating the switching knob is provided, the switching knob is provided with a recessed portion or protruding portion, and the jig is configured to be attachable and detachable to the switching knob, the jig being provided with a protruding portion or recessed portion that is fitted in or to the recessed portion or protruding portion of the switching knob.

Composite structure repair methods incorporating a lattice core material

A method for repairing a composite structure. A damaged portion of a first facesheet of the structure is removed, forming a hole in the first facesheet. A damaged portion of the underlying core is removed to form a cavity in the sandwich. If the second facesheet is damaged, the damaged section is removed, and covered and sealed with a facesheet repair section. If the core material is an open-cell material, a dam is formed around the perimeter of the cavity, to act as a barrier between the cavity and the core material. The cavity is at least partially filled with a photomonomer resin, which then is illuminated through a mask with collimated light to form a truss structure in the cavity. Residual photomonomer resin is removed, and a facesheet repair section is bonded over the hole in the first facesheet.

De-ice fairing bond fixture

A bond fixture includes a first frame defining a chamber configured to receive a leading edge of a rotor blade and a second frame pivotally coupled to the first frame. The second frame is movable between a first position and a second position. In the second position, the second frame restricts movement of the bond fixture relative to the rotor blade. At least one supporting assembly extends from the first frame towards the chamber. The at least one supporting assembly is adjustable to apply a pressure to an adjacent surface of the rotor blade.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REPAIRING A COMPOSITE STRUCTURE

A method of repairing a composite structure includes providing an assembled composite structure comprising a substantially rigid outer component, wherein the composite structure comprises a void space at least partially bounded by the outer component. The method further includes forming an injection hole through the outer component to provide a path between the void space and space external to the composite structure. The method further includes injecting foam into the void space through the injection hole while the foam is in a substantially unexpanded state and expanding the foam within the void space.
