A reinforcement layer is added along the interstitial layer. A finishing layer of the potting compound is added over the reinforcement layer forming an uncured potted electronic product. The uncured potted electronic product is cured within the mold cavity in order to produce a cured potted electronic product. The cured potted electronic product is released from the negative mold using a releasing device.

An apparatus for producing a three-dimensional emblem made of a thermoplastic synthetic resin includes a slide jig in which an electrode flat plate die and an electrode projecting die are slidable in a horizontal plane, an electrode recessed die capable of approaching and separating from the slide jig in a vertical direction and at a position where it can oppose the electrode flat plate die and the electrode projecting die, and a high-frequency oscillator that performs high-frequency dielectric heating by continuously generating a high-frequency voltage across the opposing dies, wherein recesses form in a surface of the electrode flat plate die opposing the electrode recessed die, and during high-frequency dielectric heating, a portion of the lower layer material enters the recess and is held on the electrode flat plate die.

Extruded fastener and method for making same

An extruded integrated fastener assembly comprising a plurality of fasteners cut to length from an extruded length of material. Unwanted areas of material are cut away leaving the individual fasteners, which fasteners are also connected together by an expanse of material that remains. The fastener assembly can be single durometer or double durometer. A profile with retention members and/or leg features are formed in the fasteners for connecting to a predetermined component. The process for manufacturing the extruded integrated fastener assembly includes providing fabrication tooling suitable to cut away the unwanted area between the fasteners. The fasteners are thereby able to be cut to any desired length.

A method is provided for the production of an electrical or electronic component having a conductor element with two contact points and a plastic structure injection-molded thereon. A strip-type metal substrate, having multiple conductor element blanks and a carrier structure, is provided. Grooved depressions are produced on all peripheral surfaces of the blanks on a texturing section with one or two laser light sources. With a single laser light source the grooved depressions are produced on at least two primary peripheral surfaces which adjoin one another and form a common edge such that a multiplicity of the grooved depressions extends without interruption continuously into the primary peripheral surfaces. A conductor element blank is separated from the carrier structure. The resulting conductor element is encapsulated with plastic by injection molding on all peripheral surfaces within a section to be encapsulated. The plastic structure thereby formed extends into the grooved depressions.
