The invention relates to a tube manufacturing method comprising steps of: enclosing a parison (14) in a mold (6) to form a blank (15) having a first end portion shaped to form a first tube head, a tubular central portion, and a second end portion shaped to form a second tube head, and cutting the tubular central portion (22) into a first skirt and a second skirt to obtain two separate tubes, namely a first tube including the first tube head and the first skirt, and a second tube including the second tube head and the second skirt.

An apparatus for thermoforming plastic containers comprising a thermoforming device (3) in turn comprising a shaped mould (4) and a closing element (5) movable relative to one another at least between a home position and a forming position, and an extracting device (9) for extracting the thermoformed container (2) from the shaped mould (4), the extracting device comprising at least one gripper element (68) shiftable between a pickup position and a releasing position; in which when the shaped mould (4) and the closing element (5) are in an extracting position, the gripper element (68) in the pickup position can grip a projecting edge (66) of a projecting flange (71) of the container (2) for retaining it, whilst when the gripper element (68) is in the releasing position it can release a thermoformed container (2), retained by it, onto a conveying device (69); and in which the gripper element (68) and the shaped mould (4) are also movable relative to each other, starting from the position in which the gripper element (68) has gripped the edge (66) of the container (2), along an extracting line, for causing the container (2) to come out of the shaped mould (4).
Composite tape laying apparatus with travel distance adjustment capability
The disclosure relates to a tape laying apparatus configured to lay prepreg tape to mould surface. The tape laying apparatus includes a tape supply spool, a compaction head, a cutting tool and at least one travel distance adjustment component. The tape supply spool is configured for the prepreg tape to be wound thereon. The compaction head is configured for delivering the prepreg tape to the mould surface from the tape supply spool. The cutting tool is movable along a cutting path. The cutting tool is configured to cut the prepreg tape passing through the cutting path. The at least one travel distance adjustment component is movably located between the cutting path and the compaction head and configured to push the prepreg tape passing through the cutting path so as to increase or decrease a travel distance of the prepreg tape from the cutting path to the compaction head.
CONTAINER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A method includes injection molding a preform using a two phase injection system having a first phase in which a material is injected into the preform and a second phase in which the material is injected into the preform. The preform is disposed in a mold. The preform is blow molded into an intermediate article. The intermediate article is trimmed to form a finished container. The first phase includes injecting a material into the preform to form a single layer of the preform and the second phase includes injecting the material to form inner and outer layers and an intermediate layer between the inner and outer layers. The inner and outer layers include the material and the intermediate layer includes at least one additive. Finished containers are disclosed.
SHAPING DEVICE FOR CONTINUOUS SHAPING
A forming device, system, and method for continuous forming of a semi-finished fiber product. The semi-finished fiber product is supported flatly from a first side and is at least locally restricted in its freedom of movement, for example pressed on and/or guided, on another side opposite the first side. The further restriction occurs in relation to a guiding area at at least one constant location or region past which the semi-finished fiber product is guided. Shaping tools and guiding areas defined thereby are used for support, and hold-down devices and their contact surfaces are used for further restriction. The further restriction is carried out transversely to a feed motion direction of the semi-finished fiber product through the forming device. The further restriction and the flat guidance serve to reduce formation of undulations and folds.
Process for fabricating a colored powder coating composition from solid filaments
A process for fabricating a powder coating composition having a desired color from solid input filaments. A plurality of solid input filaments is fed to a mixer in accordance with an input formulation for a color. The input filaments are liquefied at the mixer, and the liquefied input filaments are combined together in the mixer into an extrudate mixture. The extrudate mixture is removed from the mixer, solidified, and then the solidified extrudate mixture is milled into a powder.
Prepreg automatic layering device
A prepreg automatic layering device includes a rotary die-cutter, a cutting mechanism and a control device. The rotary die-cutter, by cutting a prepreg sheet only in the width direction, cuts out a prepreg cut-out section in which a prepreg cut section and an unnecessary portion are integrated. The cutting mechanism is disposed before a layering stage, and separates a portion corresponding to the prepreg cut section and a portion corresponding to the unnecessary portion by cutting the prepreg sheet in the direction in which the prepreg sheet is conveyed. The control device controls the cutting mechanism.
