Plastic closure part with severable membrane
The invention concerns a plastic closure part (10) which can be fixed to a container or a further closure part to be fixed to the container, comprising a tubular discharge portion (3) whose cross-section is closed by a membrane (7) which has a tear line (8) extending peripherally over more than 180° along its outer edge and a corresponding method for the production of such a closure. In order to develop a closure part having the features set forth in the opening part of this specification and a method for the production thereof to the effect that the problems occurring upon injection moulding due to narrow flow passages are eliminated it is provided according to the invention that the tear line (8) is formed by a cut introduced into the material of the membrane (7) with a cutting or punching tool.
Pipe structure and construction method
A structure including: a straight pipe made of a polyolefin-based material; a pair of ridges made of a polyolefin-based material, extending in a circumferential direction along an outer surface of the straight pipe, and spaced apart from each other in an axial direction of the straight pipe; a piping material including a plurality of metal-made separate cases, which are separated from each other in the circumferential direction of the straight pipe and enclose a portion of the straight pipe; and a pair of engagement portions formed on at least one of the separate cases and engaging respectively with the pair of ridges.
TRANSPORTING A FILM TUBE, BLOWN FILM LINE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A FILM
The invention relates to a system (10) for transporting a film tube (2) in a blown film line (1) along a transport direction, having a guiding unit (51) for guiding the film tube (2), a bottleneck (13.1) at which a width (2.3) of the film tube (2) can be reduced, a severing apparatus (20) having at least one severing element (21) for severing the film tube (2), wherein the guiding unit (51) is arranged downstream of the bottleneck (13.1) in the transport direction of the film tube (2). The invention furthermore relates to a blown film line (1) and to a method (100) for producing a film.
EXTRUDED FASTENER AND METHOD FOR MAKING SAME
An extruded integrated fastener assembly comprising a plurality of fasteners cut to length from an extruded length of material. Unwanted areas of material are cut away leaving the individual fasteners, which fasteners are also connected together by an expanse of material that remains. The fastener assembly can be single durometer or double durometer. A profile with retention members and/or leg features are formed in the fasteners for connecting to a predetermined component. The process for manufacturing the extruded integrated fastener assembly includes providing fabrication tooling suitable to cut away the unwanted area between the fasteners. The fasteners are thereby able to be cut to any desired length.
Laminated base material and method of manufacturing fiber-reinforced plastic
A substantially flat-plate-shaped laminated base material has at least a layer-shaped body α and a layer-shaped body β are layered or disposed side by side, the layer-shaped body α having one or more cut prepregs A in which reinforcing fibers oriented in one direction are impregnated with a resin composition, the volume fraction of fiber is 45-65%, and at least a portion of the reinforcing fibers are segmented into a fiber length of 10-300 mm by a plurality of cuts, and the layer-shaped body β having one or more base materials B in which reinforcing fibers having a fiber length in the range of 10-300 mm are impregnated with a resin composition.
Smart patch
A Smart Patch comprising a label layer, an adhesive layer, a release liner layer and a RFID inlay, wherein the release liner comprises a separable inner release liner portion and a separable outer release liner portion; and the RFID inlay is adhered to a back surface of the inner release liner portion. The Smart Patches for uses including mounting to tires and other rubber materials. Methods of manufacturing including subjecting a release liner of the label to a die cut slightly larger than the size of an intended RFID inlay to form the separable inner release liner portion and outer release liner portion and applying a RFID inlay to a back surface of a release liner within the die cut inner release liner portion.
METHOD AND ARRANGEMENT FOR FORMING GROOVES IN A BOARD ELEMENT
A method for forming at least one groove in a board element, wherein the board element includes a polymer-based material and, preferably, a filler. The method includes providing a board element including a board portion disposed at an elevated temperature and forming at least one groove by removing material, such as chips, from the board portion by a processing device.
Additive manufacturing method and machine for producing composite products
An additive manufacturing method comprises: positioning a sheet of composite material; curing a predetermined portion of the sheet; cutting the sheet about the perimeter of the predetermined portion to create a preceding processed sheet; adding a successive sheet of composite material atop and in contact with the preceding processed sheet; curing a predetermined portion of the successive sheet such that the predetermined portions of the successive sheet and the preceding processed sheet are bonded together; and cutting the successive sheet about the perimeter of its predetermined portion to create a subsequent processed sheet. The steps of adding, curing and cutting a successive sheet may be repeated for a plurality of cycles to produce a three-dimensional composite product.
Method for producing an extrusion molded product
A method for producing an extrusion molded product, wherein the method uses a holder (6) for feeding a core material (11), the holder (6) being provided with cutting guide holes (7) through which cutting blades (2) go to form grooves (12) in the core material (11); when rotary bodies (3) provided with the cutting blades (2) start rotating, the core material (11) and the holder (6) stand by at a predetermined standby position that does not enable the cutting blades (2) to cut the core material (11); and when the rotation speeds of the rotary bodies (3) reach predetermined rotation speeds, the holder (6) is or the rotary bodies (3) are moved so that the cutting blades (2) can start cutting the core material (11) proceeding through the holder (6), and then the cutting blades (2) form a plurality of grooves (12) in the core material (11).
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING CUPS
An apparatus (1) for processing plastic cups (2), adapted to be filled with coffee or other products, whether solid or liquid, and to be closed with respective lids to form corresponding capsules, comprises: a plurality of pockets (50) for housing the cups (2); an infeed station (4) for receiving the cups (2) and placing them in respective pockets (50) of the plurality of pockets (50); at least one tool (31) for applying a process to a rear face (23B) of an annular flange (23) of a cup (2) housed a respective pocket (50), to form a sealing profile (230); an outfeed station (6) configured to release the cups (2) with the sealing profile (230) formed on them.
