Rotisserie cooking appliance
A cooking appliance, as provided herein, may include a cabinet, a heating element, a first false wall, a second false wall, and a spit rod. The cabinet may define a cooking chamber. The cooking chamber may extend along a lateral direction between a first chamber side and a second chamber side. The heating element may be mounted within the cabinet. The first false wall may be slidably positioned within the cooking chamber at the first chamber side. The second false wall may be slidably positioned within the cooking chamber at the second chamber side. The spit rod may define a rotation axis from a first rod end to a second rod. The first rod end may be attached to the first false wall to slide therewith. The second rod end may be attached to the second false wall to slide therewith.
Combination Oven with Independent Cooking Modules
A modular oven includes a cabinet receiving separate modules with distinct cooking operations. Modules of the modular oven may provide any combination of convection cooking, steam cooking, impingement cooking, and high speed cooking. Therefore, the modules may be mixed and matched to suit the desired cooking operations. In some embodiments, improved steam cooking at lower cooking temperatures is provided by directing spraying water onto an independent heat source, controlled separately from the cavity heating element, within each cooking zone. By operating a separate heating element specifically for steam generation, there can be more accurate heat control of the cooking zones without overheating the cooking zones when steam is needed but when lower cooking temperatures (e.g., 211 degrees Fahrenheit and below) are desired.
Method of cooking popcorn
A popcorn popper configured to cook popcorn includes a vessel and an electric heating element which heats the vessel. A vibration element vibrates the vessel and a controller controls the heating element and the vibration element. A temperature sensor is in communication with the controller such that the controller can receive temperature readings from the temperature sensor indicative of a temperature of the vessel. The controller activating the heating element to heat the vessel which contains the popcorn until the temperature sensor indicates that a first temperature has been reached. The controller, based on readings from the temperature sensor, maintains the vessel at a second temperature by controlling a power setting of the heating element and the controller activates the vibration element to vibrate the vessel which thereby vibrates the popcorn. The controller after maintaining the vessel at the second temperature, reduces the power of the heating element.
Electric pressure cooker
An electric pressure cooker comprises a body having outer pot and inner pot received therein and a lid covering the cooker body. The outer pot and the lid comprise matching teeth for lockingly engagement upon rotating the lid into closure. The cooker body comprises a pair of cooker handles extending outwardly from a sidewall thereof. The cooker handle comprises handgrip portion. The inner pot comprises inner pot body and a pair of inner pot handles connected thereto. The handgrip portion extends to align with or beyond the inner pot handle, so that a user holding the cooker handles will avoid gripping the inner pot handles. A vertical gap between the inner pot handle and the handgrip portion allows hand access. When the user is reaching for the inner pot handle the fingers will contact the cooker handle, thereby avoiding mistakenly gripping the cooker handle.
Accessory for steam-heating and/or steam-cooking food and steamer comprising a container and an accessory for steam-heating and/or steam-cooking food contained in the container
A steamer accessory for steam-heating and/or steam-cooking food contained in a container carrying the steamer accessory, includes a steam generator including a steam production chamber connected to at least one steam distribution outlet provided in a lower part of the steam generator, the steamer accessory including a bearing surface intended to rest on the container. The bearing surface has an indentation providing a vent capable of bringing the inside of the container into communication with the outside of the container when the container is carrying the steamer accessory.
UNATTENDED-COOKING RICE COOKER DEVICE
The present invention relates to an unattended-cooking rice cooker device in which cooking ingredients such as rice or other grains are supplied, cleaned, and cooked and, more specifically, to an unattended-cooking rice cooker device comprising: a supply unit that divides and stores the cooking ingredients to supply the cooking ingredients; a cleaning unit that receives the cooking ingredients supplied from the supply unit and cleans the cooking ingredients supplied therein while forwardly and backwardly rotating; and a cooking unit including a rice cooker that receives and cooks the cooking ingredients cleaned in the cleaning unit, so as to automatically perform the cleaning and cooking of the ingredients. At the same time, a cleaning drum unit of the cleaning unit can be used as a lid (cap) of the cooking unit including the rice cooker, and thus the number of components can be reduced. In addition, the heat during the cooking is transferred into the cleaning unit to improve hygiene conditions in the cleaning unit.
Method for generating at least one recipe suggestion, kitchen appliance and system for preparing food
The invention relates to a method (100) for generating at least one recipe suggestion (230) when using a kitchen appliance (10) for preparing food, comprising the following steps: Detection (102) of food data (210), especially on the kitchen appliance (10), Assigning (103) the food data (210) to a data history (220) of a user profile (200).
Furthermore, the invention relates to a kitchen appliance (10) for preparing food and a system (1) for preparing food comprising a kitchen appliance (10).
Heating device and electric cooker
A heating device for an electric cooktop has at least one long heating conductor, one support body on the top side of which the heating conductor is arranged and fitted, and one supporting means for the support body. The heating conductor is designed as a corrugated flat strip which has, on its bottom side, holding elements which are arranged at a distance from one another and integrally project downward and are pushed into the support body. The supporting means supports the support body, at least in its outer region along an outer edge, at the bottom. The support body consists, as a thin plate, of compressed and adhesively bonded mica material, for example micanite, and is therefore electrically insulating and sufficiently stable.
Food steamer
A food steamer includes a base, a cooking container receivable by said base, a lid receivable atop said cooking container, a boiler housed within the base, a steam flow pathway extending from said boiler to said lid for directing steam generated by said boiler into said container through said lid, a control unit configured to control operation of said food steamer in response to a user input. The control unit is configured to automatically deactivate the boiler when the lid is removed from the cooking container.
Method for operating a heating element
The invention relates to a method for operating a heating element (210), in particular in a food processor (1) for the at least partially automatic preparation of foodstuffs, wherein the following steps are performed: a) detecting an electrical resistance of the heating element (210) such that at least one resistance value is determined, b) performing a heating operation on the heating element (210) based on the at least one determined resistance value to perform the heating operation depending on a temperature of the heating element (210).
