KITCHEN APPLIANCE
An electric kitchen appliance has a pot for receiving food to be processed using the electric kitchen appliance. An ultrasound transmitter and an ultrasound receiver are provided in order to determine the fill level of the food in the pot. The ultrasound transmitter and the ultrasound receiver are attached to the upper edge of the pot such that an ultrasound signal can be transmitted onto the surface of the food by the ultrasound transmitter, and an ultrasound signal reflected by the surface of the food can be received by the ultrasound receiver. In this manner, an electric kitchen appliance is provided which allows the fill state of the food in the pot to be determined in a simple and reliable manner.
Modular appliance
Appliances comprising a base unit and a plug connector coupled to the base unit. The plug connector is configured to electrically couple the appliance to a first socket connector of an electrical receptacle. A channel is formed on or in a first sidewall of the base unit. The plug connector is disposed in the channel when in an engaged position. A defines a channel wall of the channel. The lever is configured to facilitate a transition of the plug connector between the engaged position and a disengaged position. The lever engages the plug connector when in the engaged position and does not engage the plug connector when in the disengaged position.
Split-type cooking appliance and control method thereof
Disclosed are a split-type cooking appliance and a control method therefor. The control method includes acquiring state information of an identification device after a base is powered on; if the state information is a first state, forbidding the base from operating in an induction cooker operation mode and allowing the base to operate in an electric cooker operation mode; if the state information of the identification device is a second state, determining whether a wireless transmission coil circuit detects a feedback signal; if so, forbidding the base from operating in the induction cooker operation mode and allowing the base to operate in the electric cooker operation mode; and if not, allowing the base to operate in the induction cooker operation mode, and forbidding the base from operating in the electric cooker operation mode.
HEATING COOKER
A stirring body of the present invention includes housing rotatably mounted to a center of a bottom surface of a cooking container, and blade that extends from an outer peripheral surface of housing toward an inner peripheral surface of the cooking container and curves convexly toward a downstream side of a rotating direction in a plan view. Blade has front edge positioned on the downstream side in the rotating direction, and rear edge positioned on an upstream side in the rotating direction relative to front edge. A leading end portion of blade curves along the inner peripheral surface of the cooking container in the plan view and slopes upward toward the upstream side in the rotating direction. Front edge is positioned below rear edge near housing and is positioned above rear edge near leading end portion.
ASSEMBLY FOR PREPARATION OF MEALS FOR INFANTS, IN PARTICULAR MEALS FOR BABIES
The invention relates to a meal preparation assembly for preparing meals for infants, that includes a first culinary preparation module, such as a mixing module, and a connection base (8; 8′) for at least the first module (6; 4′, 6′), the base being adapted to be supplied with electrical energy and including an electrical connector (90; 90′, 92) in order to connect the first module in a removable manner and to transfer the electrical energy to the first module when it is connected, this electrical connector (90; 90′, 92) being retractable. The assembly includes a second steam cooking module (4, 4′) which is separate and distinct from the first module (6; 6′) and the base includes a user interface.
Device for defrosting, warming and cooking using a circulating fluid
A device that defrosts, warms and/or cooks items such as food in a temperature controlled circulating liquid is described. Embodiments of the device are particularly useful for sous vide cooking that uses relatively low temperatures and long cooking times. The active components including a pump and heater are placed in a self-contained base unit. When the base unit and the liquid-containing vessel or carafe are engaged, the liquid in the carafe is actively circulated by the pump in the base unit. The liquid is also heated as required as it flows through the base unit. Embodiments of the invention that are designed for the consumer can include an easily detachable, lightweight carafe that can be conveniently filled, emptied and cleaned while detached from the base unit. The detachable carafe can be designed with no electrical components so that it can be immersed in water for cleaning.
Food cooking device, an electronic library and methods related thereto
The invention relates to a food cooking device (300) having a plurality of heating means (301 a-301 d) for heating a respective food item. The device is provided with control means (302) arranged to individually control energy supply to each of the heating means (301 a-301 d). According to the invention the device (300) includes a microprocessor (303) with downloading means (304) arranged to download a set of food cooking process data. The control means (302) is arranged to control the energy supply in response to the downloaded set of food cooking process data. The invention also relates to an electronic library (600) having a plurality of information units, which are arranged to be downloadable from external users. According to this aspect of the invention each information unit includes a set of food cooking process data. Each set includes at least two food item cooking instructions. Each food item instruction includes data defining a food item and one or more groups of operation parameters. Each group of operation parameters includes energy supply data and related time duration data for heating means in a cooking device. The invention also relates to a method for cooking food and to a method for providing food cooking support.
Cooking device and components thereof
A cooking system includes a housing defining a hollow chamber configured to receive food. The housing has an upper portion defining an opening to said hollow chamber. A lid is movable relative to the housing between an open position and a closed position. The lid seals the opening to the hollow chamber when in the closed position. A portion of the lid is selectively positionable to form a pressure-tight heating volume between the hollow chamber and the portion of said lid. At least one heating element is associated with at least one of the housing and the lid. The at least one heating element is arranged within the pressure-tight heating volume.
FOOD PROCESSOR AND INSERT RECEPTACLE FOR ARRANGEMENT IN A FOOD PROCESSOR
A food processor, in particular a mixing device, comprising a housing for accommodating a receptacle and a cover that closes the receptacle, and a locking mechanism for interlocking the receptacle with the cover; the locking mechanism includes a locking element, especially a locking roller, which can be moved relative to the receptacle and/or the cover from an unlocking position into a locking position and vice versa. In order to further develop food processors of the type, the locking element, apart from or in addition to interlocking the receptacle with the cover, is designed to have a subsidiary effect on the receptacle and/or the cover or to subsidiarily interact with the receptacle and/or the cover.
