Two-faced fabric with partially oriented yarn
A two-faced, modified interlock knit fabric for use in the manufacture of toothed belts, the fabric constructed by plating a partially oriented first yarn of polyester or nylon with a second yarn of polyester or spun cotton and knit in a blister stitch in the machine direction is provided. A method of forming toothed belts incorporating such a fabric is also provided.
ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE BELT
A conductive anti-static drive belt includes a first or drive surface having a plurality of tooth formations therein with a land portion formed between each adjacent pair of teeth. The drive surface is provided by a fabric layer having electrically conductive properties. The fabric layer has an interior surface opposite the drive surface. A second surface is provided opposite the drive surface. The second surface is provided by a polymeric body that conforms to and is mated with the interior surface of the fabric layer. At least one tensile reinforcement member is at least partially encased in the polymeric body and extends along the interior surface of the fabric C layer at each land portion throughout a loop formed by the belt. A conductive strand is at least partially encased in the polymeric body and extends along the interior surface of the fabric layer at each land portion.

RUBBER CRAWLER, RUBBER CRAWLER MOLD, AND METHOD OF PRODUCING RUBBER CRAWLER
A rubber crawler (10) includes an endless rubber elastic body and protruding lugs (11) formed on the outer peripheral surface at a predetermined pitch in the crawler peripheral direction. Minute protrusions (14) extending in a direction intersecting the crawler width direction when viewed from the crawler peripheral direction are formed on a first side surface (12a) and a second side surface (12b) of the lugs (11), the side surfaces (12a, 12b) facing the crawler peripheral direction.
Frictional power transmission belt and process for producing same
A production method for producing a frictional power transmission belt containing an extensible layer forming a belt back surface, a compressive rubber layer formed on one surface of the extensible layer and frictionally engaging at the lateral surface thereof with pulleys, and a tension member embedded between the extensible layer and the compressive rubber layer along the belt length direction. A surface of at least a part of the compressive rubber layer to be in contact with pulleys is coated with a fiber/resin mixture layer that contains a resin component and heat-resistant fibers having a softening point or a melting point higher than a vulcanization temperature in a mixed state, and the heat-resistant fibers contain a fiber embedded so as to extend from the fiber/resin mixture layer to the compressive rubber layer.

Method of production for attaching a profile to a toothed belt
The invention relates to a method of production for attachment by cohesive bonding of a profile having at least one profile element onto a toothed belt previously produced as a semi-finished product. The toothed belt has a tooth side with a toothing and a toothed belt back located on the back of the tooth side of the toothed belt. In the method of production the at least one profile element is built up layer by layer from at least one first profile element layer and a second profile element layer on the toothed belt back, by the application of an application compound to the toothed belt back at a profile element position by melt layer printing.

Method for preparing a tension member, in particular a carbon tension member, in the production of a belt
A method for treating a tension member in the production of a belt. The belt includes at least a belt body made of a polymer material having elastic properties, a cover layer as a belt backing, and a substructure having a force-transmission zone. The tension member has a ribbed design and is embedded in the belt body. The tension member is treated with an overall treatment mixture which forms a cross-linked polymer that on the one hand enters into a mechanical connection with the tension member and on the other hand forms an adhesive connection with the belt body.
