FOOTWEAR INJECTION MOULD
A footwear injection mold includes a primary injection mold having a first coupling element of a first coupling assembly; and a secondary injection mold provides at least part of an injection chamber for molding a footwear part. The injection chamber has a proximal surface defining at least part of a distal surface of the footwear part and a second coupling element of the first coupling assembly. The first coupling assembly is configured to fix the secondary injection mold relative to the first injection mold.
Regrind polyurethane with glycol or polyol additive
A surface element including a recycled polyurethane and a glycol or polyol additive is provided. The surface element has an increased tearability as compared to the recycled polyurethane. An article of footwear and methods of preparing an article of footwear are also provided.
FOOTWEAR AND OTHER ARTICLES FORMED BY JET EXTRUSION PROCESSES
In certain aspects, the inventive subject matter is directed to production of constructs of footwear and components thereof by jet extrusion. The inventive subject matter contemplates novel processes for making such constructs using jets or streams of materials that solidify as fibers, and which form into two- or three-dimensional webs as they are collected. The webs may be in the nature of films, membranes, or mats. In some embodiments, the inventive subject matter generally relates to nonwoven textiles consisting of webs of superfine fibers, i.e., fibers with diameters in nanoscale or micronscale ranges.

Silicon rubber healthcare footwear article with silicon rubber insole and its manufacturing method
A healthcare footwear article includes an upper shoe body and a sole member provided underneath the upper shoe body and is connected with the upper shoe body to form an integral body. The upper shoe body and the sole member is configured from a material consisting of approximately 70% to approximately 80% of silicon rubber by weight, approximately 5% to approximately 20% of negative ion powder by weight, approximately 2% to approximately 7% of antiwear agent by weight, approximately 5% to approximately 20% of titanium powder by weight, approximately 0.1% to approximately 1.5% of vulcanizing agent by weight, approximately 5% to approximately 10% of infrared ray powder by weight, and approximately 0.1% to approximately 8% of dye by weight.
Lightweight Thermoplastic Soles
An EVA sole having an upper face and a bottom, comprising an inscribed channel and a plurality of recesses positioned on the upper face, a TPU material disposed of within the inscribed channel, and a nylon stabilizer, which is bonded to the upper face inside of the inscribed channel.
PRODUCTION METHOD OF GLUELESS PASTED INTEGRALLY MODELING SHOE SOLE
A production method of glueless pasted integrally modeling sole comprising the following steps: taking a rubber outsole compound in a mold to perform partial vulcanization; taking a midsole compound in the mold to simultaneously perform pressurizing and heating together with the rubber outsole compound that has been partially vulcanized to simultaneously generate more vulcanization of the rubber outsole compound and foaming reaction of the midsole compound and occurring adhesion; and completing glueless adhering and pasting for the rubber outsole and the foaming midsole after the mold is cooled down so as to obtain a sole finished product. Accordingly, it can greatly reduce the procedure of forming soles, decrease labor force at great quantity and energy use, and reduce the proportion of producing waste and also achieves the efficacies of reducing costs and energy saving and carbon reduction at the same time.
Articles and methods of manufacture of articles
Various articles, such as footwear, apparel, athletic equipment, watchbands, and the like, and methods of forming those articles are presented. The articles are generally formed, in whole or in part, using rapid manufacturing techniques, such as laser sintering, stereolithography, solid deposition modeling, and the like. The use of rapid manufacturing allows for relatively economical and time efficient manufacture of customized articles. The articles may include one or more reinforcements configured to provide added durability to various regions of the articles. In addition, the articles may be formed from two or more materials in a single rapid manufacturing process. The rapid manufacturing additive fabrication technique may also include using of varying intensities of the laser to fuse material to form the articles.
Buffing expanded foam items
Foam items may be buffed using particles such as particulate sodium bicarbonate in accordance with the present invention. Foam items may be, for example, expanded EVA foam items pre-formed into an intermediate size and shape. A skin layer may be formed during the expansion of the foam item to form an expanded foam item which may be entirely or partially removed by buffing the item using particles projected with selected buffing parameters. The buffing parameters may be varied based upon the thickness of at least a portion of the skin layer and/or the desired degree of moldability for the foam item after buffing. Particulate sodium bicarbonate or other types of particles used for buffing may be recycled and reused for further buffing of foam items.
Insulated sole for article of footwear
An insulated sole having down feather insulation held captive therein and method of fabrication is described. The sole is formed with open top end cavities in which there is disposed down feathers or mixtures thereof to capture and retain heat. A membrane seals the open top end of the cavities. The insulated sole is used in the fabrication of articles of footwear for use in cold weather climate to resist to the cold emanating from the ground to shield against heat loss from the wearer's feet.
