Temperature controlled case and temperature controlled package including the same
Disclosed herein is a temperature controlled case. The temperature controlled case includes a base and a stepped portion protruding from an upper surface of the base, wherein the stepped portion has a rectangular shape having a major axis and a minor axis in top plan view, a height of the base is the same as a maximum height of the stepped portion protruding from the base, and maximum distances from an edge of the base to the stepped portion in the major axis and minor axis directions are the same as the height of the base or the maximum height of the stepped portion.
METHOD OF FORMING A CUT IN A POLYMERIC COMPONENT
A method of forming a cut in a polymeric component includes providing a blade assembly including at least one blade, and a mandrel. The mandrel includes a rigid portion and a conformal support ring. The conformal support ring includes a material softer than the material forming the blade. A polymeric component is located between the mandrel and the at least one blade. The polymeric component is cut via the at least one blade. The at least one blade extends into the conformal support ring after the at least one blade has penetrated through the polymeric component.
DEVICE FOR PROTECTING AND SEALING THE OPENING OF A CONTAINER
Embodiments of a device for protecting and sealing the opening of a container. This device is a one-piece made plug for a flask or container, comprising at least one passing channel, and at least one structural flow regulator barrier, allowing the passing of solid elements. The structural regulator barrier comprises at least a gate to regulate the passing and connection between the inside space and the outside space of the container in a unidirectional and/or bidirectional way. An embodiment includes a method and a mold for manufacturing such a device.
Cap for containers, plant, method and forming device for making said cap
A cap of the press-twist type for a container, includes: a metal capsule having a transversal wall of longest extension which extends transversely with respect to an axis of the container, and a lateral wall; a curling in the distal part with respect to the transversal wall of the lateral wall by means of a curling operation; a sealing gasket with an annular shape for engaging with an opening of the container. The sealing gasket is made of a PVC-free material and includes a lateral portion, positioned in contact with the lateral wall of the capsule, which includes two portions away from the transversal wall of the capsule: a first distal portion relative to the transversal wall of the capsule and a second proximal portion relative to the transversal wall of the capsule, with a thickness greater than the first distal portion.

Method for producing sanitary cover for beverage can
A method for manufacturing a sanitary cover for a beverage can and relates to a technique for forming a cutting line along a circumferential surface of a sanitary cover while the sanitary cover is covering a beverage can, thereby maximizing the production efficiency of the sanitary cover having improved functionality. Also, the technique which, in three-dimensionally forming a cutting line as such, can carry out the process of forming the cutting line easily and rapidly via a simple structure, thereby increasing the production efficiency even further.
METHOD FOR PROTOTYPING AND MANUFACTURING HIGH-CONTOUR STRUCTURES OF ORIENTED THERMOPLASTICS AND ORIENTED THERMOPLASTIC COMPOSITES
A method for manufacturing high-contour structures by utilizing high pressure differential and applied consolidation temperatures, without the use of a heated press.
Combination cap and work support system
A combination cap and work support system includes a lower section configured to connect to a container and an upper section configured to provide a desired support to an object. The upper section includes multiple apices and at least one ridge. The system may be included as part of a kit that includes a container and may include applicators and other accessories. The system may be manufactured with various molding processes, including multi-shot molding and multi-cavity molds. The system may be utilized by placement upon a work surface and then placing an object upon an apex or ridge thereof, to support the object above the work surface.
Thermally insulated container and method for making same
A first aspect the present invention provides a thermally insulated container comprising a lid and a main body moulded from a single piece of expanded foam with outwardly tapering inner walls, necessitated by the moulding process. The container is arranged to be closed by the lid so that cool packs in the container extend from a base inside the main body to inside the lid, wherein the inner surface of the walls of the lid are tapered such that positioning the lid on the main body, with the cool packs arranged around the inner surfaces of the walls, causes the cool packs to be aligned so that they extend vertically, perpendicular to an inner surface of the base of the main body. This permits regular rectangular cool packs to be used to assist assembly and to provide a regular parallel sided space inside of the cool packs, in which a product to be shipped may be housed. According to a second aspect of the invention there is provided a method of moulding such a container, wherein the provision or absence of an insert on the mould tool permits the container to have, or not to have, provision to accommodate an insulation panel layer, without altering the inner or outer dimensions of the container formed by the method.
Method and Device for Batched Compression Molding of Rubber and Plastic Products by Means of Multiple Mold Cavities
Provided is a method and device for batched compression molding of rubber and plastic products by means of multiple mold cavities, including alternate operation of a blank shuttle and a male mold that is in a bottle cap mold, being controlled by means of engagement of two incomplete gear sets. Mold opening motion, isostatic pressing energy storage, and spring energy storage are implemented by means of the engagement characteristic of the incomplete gear sets, and mold closing and compression molding are implemented by means of the non-engagement characteristic, isostatic pressing energy storage, and pressurization of the incomplete gear sets. The method and device effectively resolve the general problem of low production efficiency and poor precision and stability of existing compression molding cap manufacturing equipment.
