Multilayer non-cross-linked heat-shrinkable packaging films
The present invention provides a multilayer packaging film characterized by an improved sealability even through contamination with excellent shrinkability good optics and strength without using internal layers of stiff resins and cross-linking, to flexible containers made therefrom, such as bags, pouches and the like, useful for packaging articles, in particular food items.
Process for forming a powder
The present disclosure provides a process including providing a polyolefin aqueous dispersion having (50) to (90) wt % solids content of dispersion, the polyolefin aqueous dispersion containing solid particles containing a polyolefin including an ethylene-based polymer having a melting temperature from greater than (115)° C. to (140)° C., polyolefin wax, acrylic dispersant; and an aqueous phase including excess acrylic dispersant; adding diluting water to form a diluted polyolefin aqueous dispersion having (5) to less than (50) wt % solids content; collecting the solid particles; washing the solid particles with a washing agent to remove the excess acrylic dispersant; and removing the washing agent to form a powder having a mean volume average particle size from (10) to (300) μm, a sphericity from (0.92) to (1.0), a particle size distribution from (1) to less than (2), a particle density from (98)% to (100)%, and a flow rate in a large funnel from (1) to (5) seconds.
Flexible pipe and coupling therefor
Construction of a sealed connection between an elastomeric or synthetic polymer flexible pipe or hose and a metallic coupling member. The coupling member surrounds an armor layer at a free end of the flexible pipe or hose. A sealing area is defined by a recessed portion of the pipe coupling into which a sealing material is introduced. An inner liner layer of the flexible pipe or hose may extend into the sealing area where it is bonded to the sealing material. The sealing material and the inner liner layer may each be comprised of a semi-crystalline thermoplastic material. Furthermore, a reinforcement material may be provided in the inner liner layer.

PROCESS FOR PRODUCING A POLYMER COMPOSITION
Process for producing a polymer composition, a polymer composition obtainable by said process and the use of said polymer composition as adhesive polymer composition and for the production of a multilayer structure, such as a three-layer metal pipe coating, with improved peel strength.
Heating device for a heating and sealing system
A protective packaging formation device is disclosed herein. The device includes an inflation assembly that directs fluid between first and second overlapping plies of a web material. The device also includes a sealing mechanism that includes an arcuate web-support surface. The web-support surface includes a heater that defines a heating zone that is operable to heat the plies to create a longitudinal heat seal that seals the first and second plies together as the web is driven over the heating zone in a downstream direction. The web-support surface also includes a cooling zone disposed downstream of the heating zone operable to allow the heated plies to cool at the longitudinal heat seal as the web is driven over the heating zone in a downstream direction, such that the cooled longitudinal heat seal retains the fluid between the plies.

Flexible Container with Peel Sleeve
The present invention relates to a flexible container (10). In an embodiment, the flexible container includes a first flexible film (12) superimposed on an opposing second flexible film (14). The first flexible film and the second flexible film are sealed along a common peripheral edge (16) to form an inner container having a closed chamber. The first flexible film and the second flexible film each has an outermost layer comprising an ethylene-based polymer. Each outermost layer is a surface-treated layer having a surface energy from 33 mN/m to 36 mN/m. The flexible container includes a peel sleeve (22, 24) superimposed on each respective outermost layer and along the common peripheral edge. The flexible container includes a release material (26) located between the peel sleeve and each outermost layer along the common peripheral edge. The release material releasably attaches the peel sleeve to the inner container.
