Process for producing shaped film
The method of the present invention for producing a shaped film includes a step of arranging a thermoplastic resin film to divide a space into a first space located on one surface side of the film, and a second space located on the other surface side, a step of heating the thermoplastic resin film, a step of curving the thermoplastic resin film in one space by using a difference in pressure between the first space and the second space, a step of stopping the curving step of the thermoplastic resin film in a state where at least a convex curved surface of both surfaces of the film is exposed into the space, and a step of cooling the curved film.
OPTICAL FILM AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME, REFLECTIVE LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL AND DISPLAY APPARATUS
An optical film includes a polarizer. The polarizer includes a base layer, and a material of the base layer is obtained by dyeing a base material with a dye. The base material includes a polyvinyl alcohol material, and the dye is selected from blue dichroism organic dyes.
METHOD FOR APPLYING A COATING ONTO A NON-SILICONE HYDROGEL LENS
The present invention generally relates to a method for applying a coating of hydrophilic polymers onto polyvinylalcohol-based hydrogel contact lenses to improve lubricity. In particular, the present invention is directed to a method for forming a coating on a contact lens, preferably a polyvinylalcohol-based hydrogel contact lens, directly in the primary package and maintaining the coated contact lens within said primary package until insertion of the coated contact lens in the eye of the contact lens user. The resultant polyvinylalcohol-based hydrogel contact lens has a coating with improved lubricity and good durability and also can be used directly from the lens package by a patient without washing and/or rinsing.
PROTON EXCHANGE MEMBRANES AND METHODS OF PREPARING SAME
Method of preparing a proton exchange membrane (PEM) include mixing a precursor of a perfluorosulfonic acid polymer with a second material to form a precursor material in a reduced humidity zone; extruding the precursor material under reduced humidity to form a filament; 3D printing the PEM with the filament; converting the precursor of the perfluorosulfonic acid polymer to the perfluorosulfonic acid polymer within the PEM; and coating the PEM.
Pouring spout for bag packaging
An injection molded pourer for a pouch pack. The injection molded pourer includes an inner pouring channel having a pouring spout arranged at an upper end of the inner pouring channel and a boat-shaped weld-in portion which surrounds a lower end of the inner pouring channel, and an injection molding gate arranged on an outside. The pouring spout can be closed with a cap. The boat-shaped weld-in portion has boat-shaped ribs which are arranged parallel to one another and which have a gap there-between. A plastic melt can be pressed into the injection molding gate. The plastic melt includes a main plastic material, and a second plastic material which forms an oxygen barrier.
RESIN COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING MOLDED ARTICLES
A resin composition containing a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin, 0.1% by mass or more and 1.2% by mass or less of a surfactant, and at least any one of an inorganic filler and silicone particles, wherein the resin composition is free of a plasticizer or comprises 5.0% by mass or less of a plasticizer, and satisfies at least any one of the following requirements (1) and (2). (1) The content of the inorganic filler is 1% by mass or more and 30% by mass or less (2) The content of the silicone particles is 0.01% by mass or more and 0.45% by mass or less
Polyvinyl alcohol composition, preparation method thereof, and polyvinyl alcohol medical catheter containing thereof
The present application discloses a polyvinyl alcohol composition, as well as a preparation method and polyvinyl alcohol medical catheter containing thereof, wherein raw materials include the following components: 60-90 parts of polyvinyl alcohol; 0.1-3 parts of glutaraldehyde; and the polyvinyl alcohol composition is made by mixing the polyvinyl alcohol in molten state with the glutaraldehyde in an acidic environment.
HYDROGEL THREE-DIMENSIONAL PRINTING
This disclosure describes hydrogel three-dimensional printing kits, methods of three-dimensional printing hydrogels, and hydrogel three-dimensional printing systems. In one example, a hydrogel three-dimensional printing kit can include a particulate build material and a crosslinking agent. The particulate build material can include from about 90 wt % to 100 wt % of a polyhydroxylated swellable polymer. The crosslinking agent can include water and a crosslinker that is reactive with hydroxyl groups of the polyhydroxylated swellable polymer to crosslink the polyhydroxylated swellable polymer.
