The structure can be coextruded and can be prepared using a triple bubble process.
Colored low-polarizing films, colored low-polarizing sheets, and colored low-polarizing lenses, and methods thereof
A colored low-polarizing film of a desired color is produced by causing a polyvinyl alcohol film to swell with water, stretching, dyeing with an organic dichroic dye, and drying it; a polarizing sheet including the film and transparent sheets attached to both sides of the film by an adhesive; and an injection-molded polarizing lens obtained by causing the sheet to curve to impart spherical or aspherical surfaces to obtain a curved polarizing lens and injecting a transparent resin onto the concave surface of the lens. The dye includes a dichroic organic dye and a coloration organic dye, wherein the dichroic composition includes a combination of dichroic dyes having a dichroic ratio of 13 or higher, wherein the coloration dye composition includes a combination of dyes having an extremely low dichroic ratio, of 4 or less, or substantially having no dichroic ratio.
Powder material for three-dimensional modeling, kit for three-dimensional modeling, device for manufacturing three-dimensional object, and method of manufacturing three-dimensional object
A powder material for three-dimensional modeling includes a base particle and a coverage film including an organic material. The coverage film covers the base particle. The powder material is used for three dimensional modeling and when the coverage film is dissolved in a solvent to prepare a solution and the solution is formed into a coated film on a smooth surface, the coated film has a wetting tension of from 22 mN/m to 28 mN/m.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING POLARIZER, AND POLARIZER AND POLARIZING PLATE MANUFACTURED USING SAME
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a polarizer, including: a) immersing and swelling a polyvinyl alcohol-based film in an aqueous solution containing an azo-based dye having an absorption wavelength of 300 nm to 550 nm; b) dyeing the swollen polyvinyl alcohol-based film with an iodine-based dye; and c) stretching the dyed polyvinyl alcohol-based film, and a polarizer manufactured using the method.
System and Method for Making Microneedles
Systems and methods for creating microneedle arrays capable of delivering a suitable drug dosages to subjects are provided. In one aspect, a method comprises creating at least one forming mold using laser ablation in a cross-over line pattern. The method further comprises casting a first material onto the at least one forming mold to create at least one microneedle mold. The method further comprises casting a second material onto the at least one microneedle mold to create at least one hollow microneedle.
Method of manufacturing embedded water soluble film carrier
This invention relates to a water-soluble film (WSF) system with embedded/entrapped water-soluble films (WSF). More particularly, the invention relates to a WSF system with actives embedded/entrapped therein such as to provide precise and desired release of actives there from and its method of manufacturing for diverse applications, in which a variety of substances such as detergents, enzymes, softeners, perfumes, pesticides, fungicides, active ingredients, dyes, pigments, hazardous chemicals, active agents for cleaning laundry, dishes, floorings, walls, furniture, fluffs, pulp, etc., and the like can be so embedded/entrapped for such purpose. The invention further discloses novel online and offline process for the manufacture of such multi-layered WSF with or without liners and of desired shapes to selectively entrap interacting/non-interacting materials and their combinations. The process also provides options for the use of a wide range of raw materials, liners such as paper, film, foil, fabric, etc.
Method and apparatus for continuously producing optical panel assemblies
A method of producing an optical panel assembly including the polarizing film in a continuous manner by laminating a polarizing film to a surface of a rectangular-shaped optical panel, is disclosed. The polarizing film is formed by performing a step of subjecting a laminate including a continuous web of a thermoplastic resin substrate and a PVA type resin layer formed on the substrate, to a 2-stage stretching consisting of a preliminary in-air stretching and an in-boric-acid-solution stretching, to reduce a thickness of the PVA type resin layer to 10 μm or less, and a step of causing a dichroic material to be absorbed in the PVA type resin layer.
Separator for nonaqueous cell and nonaqueous cell
Provided are a separator for a nonaqueous cell that has air permeability and is small in thickness while maintaining strength properties; and a nonaqueous cell having this separator. The separator includes a fiber sheet in which a polyvinyl alcohol fiber is incorporated in a proportion of 30% or more by mass (based on the fiber sheet). The fiber has a fiber breaking temperature in heated water of lower than 100° C. and higher than 85° C.
Solid-state barcodes and methods for their preparation and use
Solid-state barcodes, paints containing the solid-state barcodes, and methods of manufacturing the paint are disclosed. The solid-state barcode may include a core portion and a shell portion substantially surrounding the core portion. One or both of the core portion and the shell portion may include a pattern of two or more regions, the pattern configured to encode information. Such solid-state barcodes can be attached at arbitrary positions on objects by applying the paint containing the barcode onto the objects.
MONOPOLYMER MULTIFUNCTIONAL SEQUENCED CAST POLYURETHANE MATRIX AND PRODUCTION THEREOF
The invention relates to a monopolymer multifunctional sequenced cast polyurethane matrix produced simply and efficiently, by sequentially pouring various isocyanate/polyol complex phase solutions successively into a mould with alternating solidification of said phase solutions according to a defined order and respecting the polymerisation stage (after the pot life and before the demolding time) of the sequence preceding the one being cast, so as to end with the casting of the last phase solution that will go up to the demolding time thereof and thereby finish the polymerisation of the whole of the matrix. It is loaded, in its “reservoir” sequences, with naturally originating or synthesised transdermally penetrating or volatile active substances. They are medicating and therapeutic, cosmetic, phytosanitary or wellness substances, repellents, attractants, pheromones, biocides, perfumes or deodorants. At least two active substances can be loaded into the same matrix in order to act unidirectionally or in opposite directions. Said matrix is used to form different devices that adhere to the skin or any other surface, in order to deliver at least one substance in a controlled manner. Said devices are patches, patches with a plurality of active substances, replaceable plasters stuck to a textile support, active heel pads and ball pads for shoes, pheromone cards for controlling insects, self-adhesive insecticide attractant cards, or other devices equivalent in terms of structure and function.
