Abuse deterrent morphine sulfate dosage forms
The present invention relates to a solid oral extended release pharmaceutical dosage form comprising a cured extended release matrix formulation, the extended release matrix formulation comprising: a therapeutically effective amount of morphine sulfate, and polyethylene oxide.
The invention further relates to a process of preparing the dosage form as well as to a method of treating pain by administering the dosage form.
TREATMENT STRATEGIES TO PROTECT AGAINST BLOCKING AND FOULING ASSOCIATED WITH FLOWABLE POLYMER BODIES
Treatment compositions for the treatment of flowable solid polymer bodies and surfaces that come into contact with them comprise a first nonionic surfactant and a second nonionic surfactant. The first nonionic surfactant comprises a plurality of ethylene oxide groups and a plurality of butylene oxide groups. The second nonionic surfactant is different from the first nonionic surfactant and comprises a plurality of ethylene oxide groups. Treatment of flowable solid polymer bodies with the treatment composition may reduce the adhesion of the flowable solid polymer bodies to one another, and treatment of containment surfaces may reduce adhesion of flowable solid polymer bodies thereto. In the manufacture of flowable solid polymer bodies, the treatment composition may be added to the cooling water of a polymer extrusion process to inhibit fouling of surfaces contacted by the cooling water by the bodies. The treatment compositions do not exhibit undue foaming.
RESIN COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
The present invention relates to a resin composition comprising: 50 to 98 parts by mass of modified starch (A); 2 to 50 parts by mass of polyvinyl alcohol (B); and 0.01 to 0.15 part by mass of a compound represented by formula (1):
##STR00001## or a salt thereof (C), in which the total content of the components (A), (B) and (C) is 100 parts by mass, and the average amylose content in the modified starch (A) is 50% by mass or more.
Formulations usable in additive manufacturing of a three-dimensional object made of a soft material
Modeling material formulations and formulation systems usable in additive manufacturing of a three-dimensional object, featuring, when hardened, a Shore A hardness lower than 10 and/or a Shore 00 hardness lower than 40, are provided. Additive manufacturing processes utilizing these formulations and formulation systems, and three-dimensional objects obtainable thereby, are also provided.
Modeling material formulations usable in additive manufacturing of three-dimensional objects at low temperatures
Modeling material formulation systems usable in additive manufacturing, 3D inkjet printing in particular, of three-dimensional objects, are provided. The formulations comprise two or more curable materials, such that an average molecular weight of the curable materials in each formulation is no more than 500 grams/mol, such that each formulation features a viscosity of no more than 50 centipoises at a temperature of 35 C. Kits comprising the formulations or formulation systems and additive manufacturing processes utilizing same are also provided.
