The present invention relates to thermoplastic polyurethanes obtainable or obtained by reacting at least a polyisocyanate composition comprising at least one polyisocyanate, at least one chain extender, and at least one polyol composition, wherein the polyol composition comprises at least one polyester polyol (P1) which is obtainable by reacting an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having 2 to 12 carbon atoms and a mixture (M1) comprising propane-1,3-diol and a further diol (D1) having 2 to 12 carbon atoms, preferably butane-1,4-diol. The present invention also relates to a preparation process for such thermoplastic polyurethanes and also to the use of a thermoplastic polyurethane according to the invention or of a thermoplastic polyurethane obtainable or obtained by a process according to the invention for the production of extrusion products, films and shaped bodies or for the production of polymer compositions.
Method and apparatus for forming a composite fuselage structure
A method and apparatus for forming a composite structure. A plurality of consolidated overbraided thermoplastic preforms are co-consolidated in a circumferential stackup that is circumferentially constrained. Fibers of the plurality of consolidated overbraided thermoplastic preforms are tensioned during co-consolidation.
FDM PRINTED ITEM WITH DOPANT MATERIAL
The invention provides a method for producing a 3D item (1) by means of fused deposition modelling, the method comprising a 3D printing stage comprising layer- wise depositing an extrudate (321) comprising 3D printable material (201), to provide the 3D item (1) comprising 3D printed material (202), wherein the 3D item (1) comprises layers (322) of 3D printed material (202), wherein the method further comprises controlling a first temperature T.sub.1 of the 3D printable material (201) within a first temperature range, wherein the 3D printable material (201) comprises a thermoplastic host material (401) and a dopant material (410) in the range of 1-20 vol %, the dopant material (410) comprising polymeric flake-like particles having a metal coating, wherein the 3D printable material (201) has an optical property that irreversibly changes from a low-temperature optical property to a high-temperature optical property when increasing a temperature of the 3D printable material (201) over a change temperature T.sub.c, the optical property being selected from the group consisting of reflection, transmission, luminescence, absorption, and color, wherein the change temperature T.sub.c is within the first temperature range, wherein during at least a first part of the 3D printing stage the first temperature T.sub.1 is below the change temperature T.sub.c, and wherein during at least a second part of the 3D printing stage the first temperature T.sub.1 is above the change temperature T.sub.c.
PREFORMED THERMOPLASTIC TUBE INCLUDING AT LEAST ONE BEND
A method for making a preformed thermoplastic tube having a tube wall and including at least one bend formed by thermoforming, characterized in that on an inner curve of the bend the tube wall is provided with a pattern of corrugations with minimal dimensions in terms of number of and heights of corrugations such that a wall length reduction resulting from the corrugations along the inner curve is kept at a minimal value necessary to absorb overlength on the inner curve resulting from forming the bend, and in that on an outer curve of the bend the tube wall is smooth and free of corrugations.
METHOD FOR EVALUATING AN ASSEMBLY BY WELDING OF PARTS BASED ON THERMOPLASTIC MATERIALS
The present invention relates to a method for evaluating an assembly by welding of parts made of thermoplastic materials, to a test piece and its associated uses, to an installation for implementing this method and to the associated welding system.
PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THERMOPLASTIC SHEETS
The present disclosure relates to the process of producing thermoplastic, smooth and/or corrugated tile type board, based on new polymers or polymeric waste, pure and or composed of various plastics, whether or not chemically compatible, with or without fillers, natural/industrial/mineral/animal, individually and/or combined up to 80% by lamination process, in single or multilayer form, using various melting process mechanisms; and also allowing the interlayer and/or superficial introduction of bodies, rigid or flexible, for the purpose of structural reinforcement and or surface finishing, characterized by using an extruder that delivers a large volume of plastic mass to the lamination line, where the already laminated plastic mass passes to the molecular fixing line, through cool pressing plates, moving into to the cutting line, through the side cutting and dividing saw, being the product sent to completion section, through the square cutting and deposition on distribution table.
MODULAR THERMOPLASTIC COMPOSITE STRUCTURES
A method for bonding thermoplastic fiber-composite parts comprises providing surface texture on one or both parts being bonded, and/or providing both parts with engagement features. Such surface textures and engagement features have a specific geometry and fiber alignment that facilitate fibrous interlock between the two parts at a bonding interface via in-situ consolidation.
Trouble recovering method of aseptic filling machine and aseptic filling machine
A trouble recovering method of an aseptic filling machine and an aseptic filling machine which can resume operation at an early stage if a trouble occurs in any of portions during an operation of the aseptic filling machine are provided. A door of a chamber in which the trouble occurred is opened while a pressure in the chamber other than the chamber in which the trouble occurred is kept positive, the trouble is removed and then, the door is closed, an inside of the chamber in which the trouble occurred is cleaned as necessary, the inside of the chamber is sterilized and then, the operation of the aseptic filling machine is resumed.
