APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING HOT WATER
An apparatus for providing hot water, wherein the apparatus includes: a water storage container; a heating element for heating water positioned within the water storage container; and a tap, wherein the tap is positioned above the water storage container, wherein the tap is fluidically connected to the water storage container via a pipeline, wherein the pipeline comprises a pump, wherein the pipeline is at least partly formed as a riser within or through the water storage container.
A KETTLE
The present invention relates to a kettle for heating liquid comprising a base with a base connector being movable between an engaged and a disengaged position, and a vessel for holding the liquid. The vessel comprises a vessel connector with an electrical contact connected to a heating element. The vessel is pivotably connected to the base such that by pivoting the vessel liquid in the vessel flows through an opening located at a top portion of the vessel. The kettle is configured such that when the base connector of the base is in the engaged position, the base connector engages with the vessel connector to activate the heating element, and when the base connector is in the disengaged position, the vessel is pivotable relative to the base for pouring the liquid through the opening of the vessel.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR HEATING A LIQUID
The present disclosure relates to an apparatus (100) for heating a liquid. The apparatus (100) includes a temperature sensor (110) configured to sense a temperature of the liquid; an inclination sensor (120) configured to sense an inclination of the apparatus (100); and an adjustment unit (130) configured to adjust a size of a liquid outlet (132) of the apparatus (100) based on the sensed temperature and inclination.
VESSEL FOR TRANSFERRING THERMAL ENERGY TO AND INDUCING CONVECTION IN A CONTAINED FLUID
An article of manufacture includes a wall portion having a wall inner surface and a wall outer surface, a base portion having a base inner surface and a base outer surface, at least a portion of the wall portion and the base portion forming a vessel to retain fluid therein, at least part of the base portion configured to receive heat, and a plurality of shaped portions with at least three sides extending above, each shaped portion of the base inner surface including at least three sides and polygonal shaped tops, each of the plurality of shaped portions capable of supplying heat from the sides to fluid adjacent to the sides, the plurality of shaped portions including the polygonal shaped tops to induce creation of a plurality of hexagonal convection cells in contact with a surface of the fluid which increases heat transfer from a heating source to the fluid.
ELECTRIC KETTLE
An electric kettle includes: a body unit having a liquid container and a heating part; a lid unit configured to seal the liquid container via a sealing member; a spout; a liquid passage; an opening/closing valve; and a filter part. The liquid passage is configured such that an inside of the liquid container communicates with the spout via the lid unit. The opening/closing valve is configured to separate from the lid unit by being moved downward, thereby providing communication between the liquid container and the liquid passage, and to abut on the lid unit by being moved upward, thereby blocking the communication between the liquid container and the liquid passage. The filter part is provided in the liquid passage.
ELECTRIC KETTLE HAVING WARMING FUNCTION AND METHOD FOR OPERATING SAME
An electric kettle includes a container in which water is received, and a base on which the container is seated, wherein the container includes a handle, a body defining space in which water is received, a lid configured to open and close an open upper surface of the body, a heating module mounted on the lower surface of the body and configured to heat water contained in the body, a capacitor; a memory; and a controller configured to detect a voltage of the capacitor according to a preset period and to perform a keep-warm operation based on voltage difference between a currently detected first voltage of the capacitor and a previously detected second voltage of the capacitor, and when the body is seated on the base, commercial power is supplied to the base, and the capacitor is charged by the power transmitted through the base.
ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A KITCHEN APPLIANCE
An energy management system (401) for a kitchen appliance (201), the energy management system (401) comprising: a mains power system, a backup energy storage system (405), and a con-troller (411), wherein the controller (411) is arranged to: determine a state of health of the energy storage system; determine a state of charge of the energy storage system; determine how energy from the energy storage system is to be used based on the determined state of health, the determined state of charge and at least one measured variable obtained from a kitchen appliance (201), and apply the energy to operate at least one function of the kitchen appliance (201).
Electric kettle
An electric kettle may include a body configured to form a space in which fluid, such as water is contained, a heating module provided inside of the body to heat fluid, and a base on which a lower surface of the body is seated and which supplies power to the heating module in a state in which the body is seated. The base may include a connector which is exposed through a side surface of the base and to which a power cable for receiving external power may be connected, and a connector mounting portion formed along a circumference of the connector and protruding further outward than a side surface of the base and a front surface of the connector so as to block fluid or foreign matter from flowing into the connector.
Heating chamber of an outdoor stove
Heating chamber for a portable stove comprises a fixation mechanism for securing, in a leak-free manner, a container such as a bottle to a first surface of the heating chamber; one or more compartments fillable with liquid, typically water, dispensed from the container; a pressure compensation valve; and an outlet configured to release the liquid from the heating chamber.
