Foam particle moulded article and sole member
The present invention relates to an expanded beads molded article containing a block copolymer of a polyethylene block and an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer block and having a density of 30 kg/m.sup.3 or more and less than 150 kg/m.sup.3 and a modulus of repulsion elasticity of 60% or more. The sole member of the present invention includes the expanded beads molded article of the present invention.
BIOABSORBABLE POLYMERIC COMPOSITION FOR A MEDICAL DEVICE
A crystallized bioabsorbable polymer scaffold comprises a polymer composition of poly (L-lactide-co-tri-methylene-carbonate) or poly (D-lactide-co-tri-methylene-carbonate) or poly (L-lactide-co-ε-caprolactone) or poly (D-lactide-co-ε-caprolactone) in the form of block copolymers of blocky copolymers, wherein the scaffold is cold-bendable.
THREE-DIMENSIONAL PRINTING WITH THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMERIC PARTICLES
A three-dimensional printing kit can include a powder bed material including from about 80 wt% to about 99.5 wt% thermoplastic elastomeric particles having a D50 particle size from about 2 .Math.m to about 150 .Math.m and from about 0.5 wt% to about 6 wt% C12-C24 straight-chain alkyl carboxylate. The three-dimensional printing kit can also include a fusing agent including water, organic co-solvent, and a radiation absorber to generate heat from absorbed electromagnetic radiation.
POWDER COMPOSITIONS FOR LASER SINTERING
Powder compositions for laser sintering. Nylon copolymer compositions are described which provide enhanced performance in processing and finished products when used in 3D laser sintering processes.
Method for Producing a Multi-Section Plastic Component, and a Multi-Section Plastic Component
A method is provided for producing a multi-section plastic component in which a first plastic injection-molded individual part and a second plastic injection-molded individual part are formed. The plastic injection-molded individual parts are joined by injecting a plastic moulding compound. The plastic molding compound is a non-elastomeric thermoplastic and forms a plastic connecting component following a curing process. The plastic injection-molded individual parts and plastic connecting component are then at least partially painted.
Chemical mechanical polishing pad and preparation thereof
The present invention concerns a chemical mechanical polishing pad having a polishing layer. The polishing layer contains an extruded sheet. The extruded sheet is prepared by extruding a compounded photopolymerizable composition followed by exposure to UV light.
MEMBER FOR IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A member for an image forming apparatus includes a surface layer including a block copolymer, wherein the block copolymer includes a polyamide block and a polyether block and the composition ratio of the polyether block to the polyamide block is from 0.2 to 1.5.
POLYPROPYLENE FILMS WITH IMPROVED SEALING BEHAVIOUR, ESPECIALLY IN VIEW OF IMPROVED SEALING PROPERTIES
The present invention relates to a polymer blend and the film of the polymer blend or the film layers of the polymer blend as a surface layer or coating. More particularly, the invention relates to a polymer blend which may be extruded as such or extruded onto one or both sides of packaging film to give a sealing surface(s) which exhibits surprisingly heat sealability suitable for form-fill-and-seal-packaging. The present invention also relates the use of ethylene based plastomer to reduce sealability of films comprising polypropylene.
Copolyester tape
Provided is a tape including a composition having a copolyester including polymeric units derived from ethylene glycol and terephthalic acid or a diester thereof and >0.50 and <5.00 wt % of polymeric units with regard to the total weight of the polyester derived from an oligomeric dihydroxy compound having a number average molecular weight of >500 g/mol and <5000 g/mol. Such tape has an improved tensile-impact strength and a reduced proneness to splitting during weaving.
MOLDABLE UNCURED NONWOVEN COMPOSITE AND MOLDED CURED COMPOSITE
A process for forming a moldable, uncured nonwoven composite containing forming a outermost nonwoven layer, forming a structural nonwoven layer, needling the structural nonwoven layer and the outermost nonwoven layer together from both the outer surface of the outermost nonwoven layer and the second surface of the structural nonwoven layer, applying an uncured, water-based thermosetting resin having a cure temperature of at least about 160° C. to the second surface of the structural nonwoven layer, and at least partially drying the uncured, wet nonwoven composite. Heat and pressure may be applied to form the moldable, uncured composite. A moldable, uncured nonwoven composite and a molded, cured nonwoven composite are also disclosed.
