A method of preparing aluminum alloy-resin composite and an aluminum alloy-resin composite obtained by the same are provided. of the method comprises: S1: anodizing a surface of an aluminum alloy substrate to form an oxide layer on the surface, the oxide layer including nanopores; S2: immersing the resulting aluminum alloy substrate obtained in step S1 in a buffer solution having a pH of about 10 to about 13, to form a corrosion pores on an outer surface of the oxide layer; and S3: injection molding a resin onto the surface of the resulting aluminum alloy substrate obtained in step S2 in a mold to obtain the aluminum alloy-resin composite.
Biomineralization promoting materials and methods of forming same
Bone tissue biomimetic materials, biomimetic constructs that can be formed with the materials, and methods for forming the materials and constructs are described. The bone tissue biomimetic materials include electrospun nanofibers formed of polymers that are conjugated with peptides that include acidic amino acid residues. The materials can incorporate high levels of mineralization so as to provide mechanical strength and promote osteogenesis and/or osteoconductivity on/in the bone tissue biomimetic materials. The materials and constructs can be utilized in forming tissue engineered structures for in vitro and in vivo use. Macroscopic bone tissue biomimetic scaffolds formed from the materials can be seeded with osteogenic cells and utilized to develop bone graft materials that can exhibit strength and osteoconductivity similar to the native bone and that exhibit uniform distribution of nutrients in the scaffolds.
LATENT ELASTIC OLEFIN FILM LAMINATES AND METHODS OF MAKING ABSORBENT ARTICLES INCORPORATING THE SAME
A latent elastic film laminate is provided including a film predominantly comprising olefin elastomers. The film is stretched and maintained in a stretched state in order to impart the desired level of latent elasticity such that the conditioned film laminate will shrink upon activation, such as by heating. The latent elastic film laminate can be advantageously used in the manufacture of various elasticated articles, including absorbent personal care articles, by activating the latent elasticity after attachment to the article and thereby shirring and elasticizing components to which the film laminate is attached.
