Polyolefin composition with improved balance of properties
The present invention is directed to a polyolefin composition comprising a blend of a heterophasic polypropylene composition and 5.0 to 30.0 wt % of an ethylene homo- or copolymer, the ethylene homo- or copolymer having a density of at least 941 kg/m.sup.3 and a melt flow rate MFR.sub.21 of 1 to 10 g/10 min. The heterophasic polypropylene composition comprises a propylene homopolymer or a propylene ethylene random copolymer and an elastomeric ethylene propylene rubber, and is characterized by 75.0 to 95.0 wt % of a crystalline fraction having an ethylene content of up to 4.0 wt % and an MFR.sub.2 of 0.1 to 100 g/10 min, and 5.0 to 25.0 wt % of a soluble fraction having an ethylene content of 10.0 to 70.0 wt % and an intrinsic viscosity of 1.0 to 4.0 dl/kg, wherein the crystalline fraction and the soluble fraction are determined in 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene at 40° C.

Polymer processing additive, compositions, and methods
A poly(oxyalkylene) polymer and a metal salt of a carboxylic acid, sulfonic acid, or alkylsulfate, in combination are useful as a polymer processing additive synergist. Process for producing a three-dimensional object
A process for producing a three-dimensional object by selectively layer-by-layer solidification of a powdery material layer at the locations corresponding to the cross-section of the object in a respective layer by exposure to electromagnetic radiation. The powdery material comprises at least one polymer which is obtainable from its melt only in substantially amorphous or completely amorphous form, or a polyblend which is obtainable from its melt only in substantially amorphous or completely amorphous form. The powdery material has a specific melting enthalpy of at least 1 J/g.
CAPSULE SHELL COMPRISING A CORE-SHELL POLYMER AND A CELLULOSE
A capsule shell contains 40 to 99% by weight of a core-shell polymer and 1 to 60% by weight of a cellulose. The core-shell polymer contains 50 to 90% by weight of a core, containing polymerized units of 65 to 75% by weight of ethyl acrylate and 25 to 35% by weight of methyl methacrylate; and 10 to 50% by weight of a shell, containing polymerized units of 45 to 55% by weight of ethyl acrylate and 45 to 55% by weight of methacrylic acid.

The present application includes an injection molding step and a stretch blow molding step. The stretch blow molding step is configured to include: a first step in which preliminary blow air is introduced into a preform to stretch the preform in a state in which a stretching rod does not contact the bottom of the preform; a second step which is executed after the first step, and in which the preliminary blow air is introduced into the preform and the stretching rod is moved at a set speed and pressed against the bottom of the preform to stretch the preform; and a third step which is executed after the second step, and in which final blow air is introduced into the preform to stretch the preform.

A resin sheet according to the present disclosure includes an uncured product or semi-cured product of a thermosetting resin composition. A melt viscosity of the resin sheet is equal to or greater than 10 Pa.Math.s and equal to or less than 2000 Pa.Math.s when measured using a Koka flow tester under a measuring condition including 130° C. and 1 MPa and is equal to or greater than 6 Pa.Math.s and equal to or less than 1200 Pa.Math.s when measured using the Koka flow tester under a measuring condition including 130° C. and 4 MPa.
Manufacture of three dimensional objects from thermosets
A method for creating a three dimensional (3D) object from reactive components that form a thermoset product. In one embodiment, a method includes providing first and second reactive components that are effective to form the thermoset product. In one embodiment, the thermoset product includes a urethane and/or urea-containing polymer. In one embodiment, the first reactive component includes an isocyanate and the second reactive component includes a polyol having at least one terminal hydroxyl group, a polyamine having at least one amine that includes an isocyanate reactive hydrogen, or a combination of the polyol and the polyamine. In one embodiment, the first reactive component includes a prepolymer, and optionally the ratio of viscosity of the first and second reactive components is from 1:3 to 3:1. Also provided is a 3D object that includes a completely reacted thermoset product, and a thermoset system that includes a first and a second reactive component.
