Fiber-reinforced plastic panel material
An FRP panel material includes reinforcing fibers oriented in predetermined orientation directions near the surface. In the surface of the panel material, a plurality of either or both of protrusions and depressions having shapes of congruent regular triangular pyramids are provided. The bases of the regular triangular pyramids are arranged on a virtual reference plane along the surface with no gap or overlap so that each vertex of an equilateral triangle constituting each base is shared by six of the bases as vertices thereof. Each of the orientation directions of the reinforcing fibers is parallel to any lateral edge of each regular triangular pyramid as seen in the thickness direction of the panel material.
Method for producing a component, in particular for a motor vehicle, and component
A method for producing a component includes incorporating a molding compound into a tool for producing the component, where the molding compound includes an artificial resin as a matrix and a filler material embedded in the matrix. The method includes compressing the molding compound by the tool and by the compressing forming the molding compound to a green product. The method further includes providing the green product while disposed in the tool with a layer in a sub-region by incorporating a liquid material for producing the layer into the tool and applying the liquid material to the sub-region. The liquid material is a metallic material and the layer is an electromagnetic shielding on the green product.
Thermoplastic composite panel systems and methods
A method for forming a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic control surface includes forming first and second skins from a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin. The method further includes overmolding fiber-reinforced thermoplastic features onto the first skin and/or second skin, including stiffener structures, sidewalls, and/or hinges. The method further comprises welding or consolidating the first and second skins together, along with the associated internal features overmolded thereon to form a single-piece, stiffened, fiber-reinforced thermoplastic control surface.
Method for preparing compact of resin compound having anisotropy
A method for preparing a compact of resin compound comprising the following steps (a) to (c): (a) a preparation step of mounting a sheet-shaped or block-shaped compact of resin compound including a resin composition, which contains a filler having magnetic anisotropy and is solidified by curing or by being advanced to a B-stage, on a transportation unit which is movable in the horizontal direction, and covering at least a top surface of the compact of resin compound with a cover material; (b) a step of applying a magnetic field to the compact of resin compound obtained in the step (a) with a bulk superconductor magnet having a central magnetic flux density of 1 T or more; and (c) a step of moving the compact of resin compound in the horizontal direction and scanning it while applying vibrations to the compact of resin compound mounted on a region of a central part of the bulk superconductor magnet under application of a magnetic field.
MOLDED RESIN OBJECT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING MOLDED RESIN OBJECT
Provided is a resin molded body capable of increasing a flexural modulus. A resin molded body according to the present invention includes a urethane resin, long reinforcing fibers, an inorganic filler having an average particle diameter of 1 μm or more, and fine inorganic particles having an average particle diameter of 200 nm or less, a content of the fine inorganic particles being 0.06 parts by weight or more and 3.00 parts by weight or less with respect to 100 parts by weight of the urethane resin.
Bragg-peak three-dimensional manufacturing with resins
This patent application claims the use of directed energy in the form of electronically scanned ion beams to form plastic parts by selectively curing commodity or engineering resin in the shape of the part. Polymerization is limited to the vicinity of the controlled Bragg-peak of the ion beam (i.e., where linear energy transfer is maximized), if necessary, by the use of chemical polymerization inhibitors or conditions that inhibit polymerization.
A COMPOSITE UNDER VEHICLE PROTECTION
Disclosed is a rigid and monolithic composite under-vehicle protector containing phenolic felt and a polyurethane material applied by spraying on the phenolic felt. A production method for the under vehicle protector is also disclosed.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING METAL-RESIN COMPOSITE
The apparatus includes an upper mold and a lower mold that sandwich the metal member and the resin material, and a drive unit that vertically moves an elastic member attached to a molding surface of the upper mold and at least one of the upper mold and the lower mold. A cavity for arranging the resin material is provided by the upper mold 110 and the lower mold. The elastic member is arranged so as to seal the resin material in the cavity.
MOLD, APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING METAL-RESIN COMPOSITE
A mold is for press molding a metal plate and a resin material to produce a metal-resin composite. The mold includes an upper mold and a lower mold that sandwich the metal plate and the resin material. A cavity for arranging the resin material is provided by the upper mold and the lower mold. The upper mold has a recess into which the resin material leaking from the cavity is caused to flow.
MOLD, APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING METAL-RESIN COMPOSITE
A mold for producing a metal-resin composite by press-forming a metal member and integrally molding the metal member that is press-formed and a resin material includes an upper mold and a lower mold that sandwich the metal member and the resin material. The upper mold includes a first press surface for press-forming the metal member and a second press surface for integrally molding the metal member and the resin material. A distance between the first press surface and the lower mold is shorter than a distance between the second press surface and the lower mold.
