Coffee-based beverage preparation system and methods for using the same
A coffee-based beverage preparation system is disclosed that receives a brewed coffee frozen ice block and, in certain embodiments, prepares a brewed coffee beverage at a desired temperature without the requirement to add water from a water reservoir. In one embodiment, the coffee-based beverage preparation system includes a preparation chamber for receiving a degassed frozen brewed coffee beverage and a plurality of heating elements configured to apply heat to the preparation chamber to melt the degassed frozen brewed coffee beverage. The coffee-based beverage preparation system also includes an outlet port comprising in fluidic communication with the preparation chamber and an electronically controlled valve secured to the outlet port that is configured release the fluid content of the preparation chamber into a receiving vessel, such as when the fluid reaches a predetermined temperature.

High pressure, low temperature, continuous flow extraction systems and methods are designed to produce fluid consumables, including water-based consumables such as coffee or tea. The extraction systems and methods are designed to be safer, more efficient, and more scalable than other known and conventional extraction techniques, and to have significantly quicker extraction times and higher yields.
Extraction device and extracting method
The disclosure relates to an extraction device for extracting soluble favors from raw materials that are distributed within liquid. The extraction device includes a first container, a second container, a valve, and an air suction device. The second container is configured for storing the mixture of the raw materials and the liquid. The valve is connected to the second container and the first container. The air suction device is connected to the first container and configured to decrease the internal pressure of the first container to a predetermined value. When the internal pressure of the first container reaches the predetermined value, the valve is activated to connect the first container to the second container. The disclosure also relates to an extracting method for using the extraction device.
Brewer device with freshness monitor
A brewer device with a brewer control system and a user interface is provided. The brewer control system is configured to dispense a brewed beverage and includes a freshness monitor to generate a freshness status of respective brewed beverages dispensed by the brewer control system into a plurality of servers. The user interface includes an output device to present the freshness status of the respective brewed beverages in the plurality of servers. The freshness monitor is local to the brewer control system without needing to establish communications with any of the plurality of servers.

A machine (1) for serving a beverage (7) via a dispensing outlet (8) to a consumer receptacle (9) by mixing water (3) from a water source (3′) with a flavouring ingredient (2), has a mixing unit (10) that comprises: a stationary support (11); a seat (12) having an ingredient opening (120); a closure part (13) configured to close and open the ingredient opening (120); and a wall part (14) that is movable inside the seat (12). The seat (12), the closure part (13) and the wall part (14) are: mounted to the support (11); and relatively movable between a transfer configuration and a mixing chamber configuration in which the seat (12) and the closure part (13) and the wall part (14) form a mixing chamber (12′) fluidically connected with the water source (3). The mixing unit (10) is provided with a chamber thermal conditioner (23,24), such as a chamber heater and/or a cooler, for conditioning at least one of the seat (12), the closure part (13) and the wall part (14). The chamber conditioner (23,24) is configured to thermally condition the mixing chamber (12′) prior to supplying water into the mixing chamber (12′) and independently of any thermal conditioning of such water (3) prior to such supplying of the water (3).
Cold brew coffee beverage and method of making the same
Disclosed are processes for making cold brew beverage compositions including concentrates and apparatus for preparing cold brew beverage compositions. The disclosed processes and apparatus allow for efficient, rapid, industrial scale production of cold brew beverage compositions having improved total solid content, improved flavor stability, longer shelf-life, and adaptability to use in small volume containers.
EXTRACTION CELL
A method of preparing an extract can include loading extraction material into an extraction cell having a first portion and a second portion with ground coffee at a density of between 0.2 g/ml-0.4 g/ml and the ground coffee having a particle size between 200 μm to 400 μm. The method can further include introducing a flow of extraction medium through the first portion of the extraction cell. The method can include, within less than 75 seconds of introducing a portion of the flow of extraction medium into the extraction cell, withdrawing from a filter at the second portion of the extraction cell, extract that has been extracted from the extraction material by the portion of the flow of extraction medium introduced into the extraction cell. The method can include, within less than 30 minutes of introducing a portion of the flow of extraction medium into the extraction cell, withdrawing from a filter at the second portion of the extraction cell, extract that has been extracted from the extraction material by the portion of the flow of extraction medium introduced into the extraction cell.

A method of preparing a cold brew beverage includes providing a flavorant, identifying a brew cycle for preparing the cold brew beverage, and performing said brew cycle, wherein performing said brew cycle includes steeping said flavorant within a predetermined volume of water having a temperature between about 30° C. and about 50° C.

A brewing guide device is provided. The brewing guide device includes a communication device, a processing device, and a display device. The communication device obtains real-time weight information and real-time time information from an electronic scale. In a first brewing stage, the processing device determines whether the flow rate is higher than, equal to or lower than a first threshold according to the real-time weight information and the real-time time information to generate a first display instruction. According to the first instruction, the display device displays a first water line corresponding to the real-time weight information, a first target line corresponding to the first brewing stage, and a first display pattern corresponding to a first display block below the first target line on a display interface, wherein the level of the first water line is lower than or equal to the first target line.
