Coffee machine
The coffee machine has at least one infusion unit and at least one filter holder that is manually connected to and disconnected from the infusion unit for preparation of coffee, and it comprises at least one added support element of the filter holder for keeping it attached to the coffee machine when the filter holder is not connected to the infusion unit, said added support element comprising heating means for heating said filter holder to a predetermined temperature. The additional support element can be implemented also as a standalone element and, therefore, not connected to the coffee machine.

The present invention relates to an apparatus for brewing hot beverages, and more particularly to an apparatus for automated brewing of coffee or tea. The apparatus for automated brewing of coffee comprises a frame structure defining an interior space, wherein the interior space houses a ground coffee feed system, a carousel assembly, a water system, a waste system and a coffee storage and dispensing system.

A heat exchanger includes a body placed inside a discharge container of a solenoid valve of a machine for coffee dispensing. The body includes: a first portion presenting a collection cavity of a hot waste fluid coming from the solenoid valve of the machine and defining a first surface arranged to come into contact with the hot waste fluid and a second surface facing the opposite side from the first surface; and a second portion presenting a primary surface in contact with the second surface of the first portion and a secondary surface opposed to the primary surface, arranged to come into contact with a heat exchange fluid of the machine having a different temperature from the temperature of the hot waste fluid. The first and second portions allow heat exchange, by conduction, between the hot waste fluid and the heat exchange fluid of the machine.
Supply container arrangement for a beverage preparation device
In order to improve a beverage preparation device in terms of operability and ergonomics and in particular to simplify filling of a supply container with solid beverage starting products, a supply container arrangement is provided which has at least one two-part supply container having a lower part-container and a removable upper part-container which can be arranged on the lower part-container. The upper part-container has a bottom with a connection opening on which a closure device is arranged which is designed, when joining together the upper and lower part-containers, to open automatically and to free a connection between the upper and lower part-containers.

Methods for producing liquid extracts
The present disclosure is generally related to systems and methods for producing liquid extracts from a solid raw material, as well as related equipment. Certain aspects are related to the production of multiple liquid extract products using a single system by adjusting one or more displaceable fluidic pathway segments within the system to switch between first and second (or more) extraction configurations. In certain embodiments, a first liquid extract can be produced when the displaceable fluidic pathway segment is in a first configuration, and a second liquid extract (different from the first liquid extract) can be produced when the displaceable fluidic pathway segment in in a second configuration (different from the first configuration).
