METHODS OF PRODUCING THERMOPLASTIC COMPOSITES USING FABRIC-BASED THERMOPLASTIC PREPREGS
A thermoplastic product includes a fabric-based reinforcing sheet and a polymerized thermoplastic material. The fabric-based reinforcing sheet is wound about a mandrel to form a plurality of layers having a cross-sectional shape that corresponds to the mandrel. The fabric-based reinforcing sheet includes a plurality of fiber bundles, which may have a bidirectional orientation or configuration. A polymerized thermoplastic material is disposed within each layer of the fabric-based reinforcing sheet. The polymerized thermoplastic material bonds each layer of the fabric-based reinforcing sheet to an adjacent layer.

USE OF ULTRA-PURE PHEROMONES FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF DIFFUSER DEVICES
The present invention relates to the use of pheromones having a high degree of purity to manufacture plastic diffusers containing an insect pheromone filler and having stiffness and fracture-resistant properties that can be used in the tensile or compressive field. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing said articles by means of injection.
Method for manufacturing soundproofing board part having excellent sound absorption performance and soundproofing board part manufactured by the same
Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a soundproofing board part having improved sound absorption performance. The soundproofing board part is manufactured by using, as a material, a recycled soundproofing material which contains a polyurethane foam having excellent sound absorption performance and impact resilience during the press molding; and by producing a sound absorption part on the back surface of the soundproofing board part through a remolding processing method. Also disclosed is a soundproofing board part manufactured by the method. Accordingly, sound absorption performance of the soundproofing board part is improved by about 20% or greater, manufacturing cost thereof may be reduced by recycled resources utilizing waste sheets, and manufacturing process may be simplified compared the related art.
Device and method for continuously blow molding fiber-reinforced thermoplastic hollow profiles having a constant or changing cross-section
The invention relates to a device and a method for semi-continuous blow moulding of fiber-reinforced, thermoplastic, endless, hollow-profile-shaped components with longitudinally constant or varying cross-sections, consisting of at least one consolidation tool, which, in its closed state, encloses a preform enclosing an elastically moldable pressure chamber.
Green aircraft interior panels
The present invention relates to sandwich panels used as aircraft interior parts. In addition to provide a finishing function, the sandwich panels need to have certain mechanical properties and have sufficient fire resistance to retard the spread of fire within the vehicle interior. The present invention provides an aircraft interior panel with skins comprising natural fiber reinforced composites based either on an inorganic thermoset resin or a thermoplastic resin. Such panels provide the required flame and heat resistance, allow easy recycling and disposal, are cheaper and offer significant weight savings over conventional sandwich panels.
Hollow structure body and vehicular component
According to one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a hollow structure body having a hollow structure, in which a first shaped product constituted by a first fiber-reinforced resin material containing first reinforcing fibers and a first matrix resin and a second shaped product constituted by a second fiber-reinforced resin material containing second reinforcing fibers and a second matrix resin are combined, wherein in an arbitrary cross section in a direction perpendicular to an axial direction of the hollow structure, a ratio Sc/St between compressive strength Sc of a structure in the first shaped product and tensile strength St of a structure in the second shaped product satisfies formula (1):
(σc/σt)*(Hc/Ht)<(Sc/St)<(σt/σc)*(Hc/Ht) formula (1).
