BALE WRAP REMOVAL DEVICE UTILIZING SHAPE MEMORY WIRE
A wrap removal assembly includes an elongated support member extending along a central longitudinal axis and having an exterior surface. A snagging wire is disposed adjacent the exterior surface of the elongated support member and includes an active material changeable between a first shape and a second shape in response to a control signal. The snagging wire presents a catch spaced outward and away from the exterior surface when disposed in the first shape to snag the wrap material and gather the wrap material around the elongated support member. The snagging wire is positioned substantially flat against the exterior surface of the elongated support member when disposed in the second shape to release the wrap material and allow removal of the wrap material from the elongated support member.
FRONT-END LOADER HAVING A DOUBLE BOOM WITH A DOGLEG BEND OF 105 TO 135 DEGREES INCLUDING AN EXTENSION POWERED BY HYDRAULIC CYLINDERS
A front-end loader for attachment to a tractor. The front-end loader includes a support structure configured to be attached to the tractor, and two extendable booms, each boom including a proximal leg and a distal leg, the distal leg configured to be attached to an accessory, such as a bucket. The extendable booms each have a boom extension hydraulic cylinder for extending the boom by up to 2 to 4 feet, in addition to a lift hydraulic cylinder to lift each boom, and a tilt hydraulic cylinder to tilt the accessory. The extendable booms greatly enhance the capability of the front-end loader to position its payload higher and farther than a standard front end loader, while preserving the stability and lifting capacity of the front-end loader. The booms have a traditional dogleg bend of 105 to 135 degrees that provides the two booms with a wide range of motion.
Hitch mounted forklift assembly
A hitch mounted forklift assembly includes a primary member that is insertable into a hitch receiver of a truck. A coupler is coupled to the primary member and the coupler is exposed when the primary member is positioned in the tow hitch. A lifting rail is provided that has a track gear integrated therein and a motor is coupled to the primary member. A drive gear is rotatably coupled to the motor and the drive gear engages the track gear in the lifting rail. The lifting rail is lifted upwardly or lowered downwardly by the drive gear when the motor rotates the drive gear. A cross member is coupled to the lifting rail and a plurality of tines is each from the cross member. The plurality of tines lifts and lowers a hay bale for transport.
BALE WRAP CUTTING AND RETAINING APPARATUS
Example aspects of a wrap cutting assembly for a bale wrap and a method for using a bale wrap cutting and retaining apparatus are disclosed. The wrap cutting assembly can comprise a saw housing defining a connection portion; a saw comprising a plurality of teeth configured to cut the bale wrap; and a linkage system movably coupling the saw to the saw housing and configured to move the saw along an arcuate path.
GUIDANCE DISPLAY SYSTEM FOR WORK VEHICLES AND WORK IMPLEMENTS
A work vehicle guidance display system comprising: at least one imaging device disposed on a work vehicle; a display disposed in the work vehicle configured to display images from the imaging device; and a controller configured to: select a field of view of the imaging device to display; receive a static dimension associated with the work vehicle; receive a dynamic dimension associated with the work vehicle; and display on the display a field view with a first machine travel path based on the static dimension and a second machine travel path based on the dynamic dimension.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR REMOVING NET WRAP FROM A BALE
Apparatus and methods for removing net wrap from a bale are described herein. The apparatus includes a frame configured to releasably mount to a vehicle and first and second opposed arms movably coupled to the frame. At least one of the first and second opposed arms moves between a retracted position where the arms support the bale and an extended position where the bale passes between the arms and falls downwardly. The apparatus also includes a cutting mechanism including a cutting element configured to cut the net wrap. The apparatus further includes at least one grabbing mechanism coupled to at least one of the first arm and the second arm to retain the net wrap after the net wrap has been cut by the cutting mechanism and the bale falls downwardly between the arms.
Self-aligning hay bale unroller
An attachment for an industrial or farm vehicle is designed to engage, carry and unroll a round hay bale. The attachment can be adjusted to interact with hay bales of various lengths. The attachment includes a support structure with features to attach to the vehicle. A first end of a first arm is pivotably connected proximate a first end of the support structure. A first end of a second arm is pivotably connected proximate the first end of the support structure. A spacing link is pivotably connected to second ends of the first and second arms. A first hay bale spear is attached to the spacing link. A third arm has a first end pivotably connected proximate a second end of the support structure. A second hale bay spear is attached proximate to a second end of the third arm and faces toward the first hay bale spear.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROCESSING WHOLE PLANT MATERIALS INTO SEPARATED COMPONENTS
A system for processing plant materials is described. The plant materials have at least plant stalks, and the plant stalks comprise at least bast fibers. The system has a crusher module for disrupting the plant materials without breaking or damaging the bast fibers thereof, thereby obtaining disrupted plant stalks and a first plant-remainder; a decorticator module coupled to the crusher module for separating the disrupted plant stalks into bast fibers as a first product and a second plant-remainder; and a screening module coupled to the decorticator module for separating at least the second plant-remainder to microfibers and hurds as a second and a third product, respectively.
CONTROL SYSTEM FOR A CROP PACKAGE ACCUMULATOR AND METHOD OF USING SAME
A control system and method are provided for accumulating bales processed by an agricultural baler. The accumulator has a base frame and a carriage laterally movable thereon. The control system includes at least one actuator mounted to the frame and configured to move the carriage relative to the frame or to move the carriage in response to a bale engaging an upstanding end of the carriage, at least one sensor configured to detect a position of one or more of the carriage and the at least one actuator relative to the frame, and a controller configured to receive position signals and control the at least one actuator to move at least the carriage relative to the frame to sequentially accumulate multiple bales on the carriage. A crop package receiving area of the carriage has a fixed lateral width during all lateral movement of the carriage.
Gripper, implement and method
A gripper for an implement for handling bales includes a body having at least one support arm, at least one tine coupled to the body, and a cutting device. The at least one tine protrudes in a direction beyond the cutting device in at least one region.
