APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING A BREWED BEVERAGE
An apparatus for providing an infused or brewed beverage comprises a brewing arrangement which is configured to brew a beverage according to a selected one of a plurality of brewing processes, at least one being a hot brewing processes and at least one being a cold brewing process. The apparatus includes a controller configured to receive a user selection indicative of a required beverage, and to control the brewing arrangement in dependence upon the user selection. The apparatus may for example be used to provide either hot brew or cold brew coffee as required, without the need for multiple machines.
BEVERAGE EXTRACTION APPARATUS
A beverage extraction apparatus of the present invention, comprises: a bottle portion capable of holding a liquid therein, which is supplied from an opening portion located at a top side thereof; a lid for covering the opening portion of the bottle portion; a base portion for allowing the bottle portion to be installed thereon and rotatably holding a base magnet therein; a motor for rotating the base magnet; an infuser for allowing an infuser magnet to be disposed therein and reversing itself upside down within the bottle portion along with rotation of the base magnet; and a controller for controlling a magnetic pole of the base magnet in order to allow or block inflow and outflow of the liquid with regard to an internal portion of the infuser and the bottle portion therein.

POUR OVER TYPE SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SEPARATING AN EXTRACT FROM A SUSPENSION
The present disclosure includes many embodiments of devices and related methods for creating an infused extract from a mixture of infusible material and one or more liquids using “pour-over” type methodologies. Any desired infusible material can be used, as well as any desired combination of liquids.
Beverage Brewer Having Moving Water Dispersion
A beverage brewer includes a brewing material holder and a movable water-dispensing member configured to receive a flow of liquid and including ports configured to release received liquid into the brewing material holder. The brewer can also include a water-dispersing assembly disposed above the brewing material holder to receive the flow of liquid. The movable water-dispensing member can be couplable to the water-dispersing assembly to receive the flow of liquid. The water-dispersing assembly can include a reservoir having an outlet, such as a funnel. The movable water-dispensing member can be configured to move, such as to rotate, due to a force of pressure provided by the flow of liquid. The force of pressure provided by the flow of liquid can be caused, for example, by the weight of the liquid. The reservoir can include a constricted portion providing a venturi effect.

HYBRID RECEPTACLE BEVERAGE BREWING SYSTEM
A system for preparing a brewed beverage from at least one flavorant includes a housing, a receptacle connectable to the housing for holding the at least one flavorant and a reservoir connectable to the housing. The receptacle including a first fluid inlet and a second fluid inlet and a first fluid flow path fluidly connects the reservoir to the first fluid inlet and a second fluid flow path fluidly connects the reservoir to the second fluid inlet.
CAPSULES FOR CONTAINING COFFEE OR ANOTHER SUBSTANCE FROM WHICH A BEVERAGE CAN BE EXTRACTED USING HOT WATER
A capsule for use in an extraction machine has a frustoconical side wall, a transverse base closing one end of the side wall, an open mouth at the end remote from the base and a peripheral flange encircling the open mouth. A section of the side wall of the capsule close to the flange is thicker than the remainder of the side wall.
