A SYNTHETIC COMPOSITE AS BONE GRAFT AND THE METHOD THEREOF
The invention is for a synthetic composite for a bone graft comprising of: bio inert polymers comprising poly lactic acid, poly D, L-Lactic acid; bio active polymer consisting of polypropylene fumarate or diester of fumaric acid and propylene diol (1,2-Diol); and a bioactive inorganic component consisting of a metal fluorophosphates glass powder wherein the amount of the bioactive components is upto 30% (w/w) of the composite. The bioactive inorganic metal fluorophosphates glass powder of the composite is one of zinc fluorophosphate, magnesium fluorophosphate or silver fluorophosphate. The invention pertains to the method of making the scaffold, and also the 3D printed scaffold.
Method for producing sealed structure
A method of producing a sealed structure, the method including: preparing a substrate and a curable resin composition in a liquid form; and sealing the substrate with the curable resin composition, to form a sealed body including the substrate and a cured product of the curable resin composition. The sealing step includes: printing the curable resin composition onto the substrate, to cover the substrate with a first coating film of the curable resin composition; and compression-molding the first coating film and the substrate together using a mold, with a pressing surface of the mold abut against the first coating film, to convert the first coating film into a second coating film. A ratio of a projected area S1 of the first coating film onto the substrate to a projected area S2 of the second coating film onto the substrate: S1/S2 is 0.9 or more.
Extrusion grade perlite reinforced polypropylene polymer
The invention disclosed herein is an automotive acoustic panel including a porous sound-absorption material made from a polymer and an expanded perlite. One or more silane compounds may be coupled or coated onto the expanded perlite while a coupling agent and a chemical foaming agent may additionally be added to the automotive acoustic panel.
Monolithic thermocasting of polymer mixtures for architectural applications
A monolithic thermocasting system for thermocasting polymer and solid material and method of use having an internal frame system; an external frame system disposed external to the internal frame system; a mold cavity formed between the internal frame system and the external frame system, the mold cavity sized to receive the polymer and solid material and shaped to form an architectural member; a duct; and a heater element disposed in the duct for outputting thermal energy to the mold cavity to heat the polymer and solid material, the thermal energy being sufficient to thermocast the polymer and solid material to a combined building material.
Three-dimensional printing compositions
Disclosed herein are compositions for three-dimensional printing. In an example, disclosed herein is a composition for three-dimensional printing comprising: (A) a powder build material; (B) a first fusing agent; (C) a second fusing agent different from the first fusing agent; (D) a detailing agent; (E) a cyan ink composition; (F) a yellow ink composition; (G) a magenta ink composition; and (H) a black ink composition.
CORE-FREE Thermoplastic Polyurethane Yarn FORMED WITH RESIN and Method for Producing SAME
The present invention relates to a resin for a thermoplastic polyurethane yarn, comprising: thermoplastic polyurethane; and silica nanopowder. The present invention also relates to a method for producing a thermoplastic polymer yarn having a thickness of 50 denier or less by use of silica nanopowder having a particle size of 5-30 nm as a thickener. The thermoplastic polyurethane resin according to the present invention has desired processability and physical properties.
Heat resistant polyimide film
A high temperature resistant polyimide film and its preparation method. The present invention relates to a polyimide film and its preparation method and solves the problems of honeycomb's and skin panel's core adhesive-polyimide film with insufficient heat resistance, no climbing of bonding core structure and adhesive fillet formation. The high temperature resistant polyimide film is made by polyimide solution, inorganic filler modifier and interface coupling agent by the steps of: under specific temperature and stirring conditions, adding inorganic filler modifier and interface coupling agent to polyimide solution, stirring to obtain the adhesive agent; filtering and degassing the adhesive agent, casting to a stainless steel drum with carrier cloth and release paper to obtain a self-supporting film; then heating and annealing to obtain the final polyimide film. The present invention is applied to high temperature resistant polyimide film and its preparation method.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING OF PEELABLE SACRIFICIAL STRUCTURE
A method of additive manufacturing of a three-dimensional object. The method comprises: sequentially dispensing and solidifying a plurality of layers comprising (i) a stack of model layers arranged in a configured pattern corresponding to the shape of the object and being made of a modeling material, (ii) a sacrificial structure having a stack of sacrificial layers made of an elastomeric material, and (iii) a stack of intermediate layers made of a support material having an elastic modulus less than the elastomeric material and being between the stack of model layers and the sacrificial structure; and applying a peeling force to the sacrificial structure to remove the sacrificial structure, and to expose the stack of model layers and/or the stack of intermediate layers beneath the sacrificial structure.
METHOD FOR PREPARING A REINFORCED STRUCTURE
This invention relates to the use of composite reinforcements advantageously comprising a thermosetting matrix and a filler in particular in the reinforcing of thermoplastic material or of thermosetting resin, in order to obtain a reinforced structure such as a bathtub, a washbasin, a wall panel or a shower tray.
This invention relates more particularly to a method for preparing a reinforced structure using composite reinforcements, as well as the structure able to be obtained by such a method.
ANTIBACTERIAL GLASS COMPOSITION, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ANTIBACTERIAL GLASS POWDER USING ANTIBACTERIAL GLASS COMPOSITION, AND HOME APPLIANCE INCLUDING ANTIBACTERIAL GLASS COMPOSITION
An antibacterial glass composite, a method of manufacturing antibacterial glass powder using an antibacterial glass composite, and a home appliance including an antibacterial glass composite. The antibacterial glass composition secures antibacterial activity and water resistance at the same time using a content ratio of a modified oxide and a network-forming oxide. As a result, as the antibacterial glass composition, the method for preparing the antibacterial glass power, and the household electrical appliance comprising the antibacterial glass composite use antimicrobial having non-elution characteristics, remarkable effects may be exhibited in preventing bacterial or mold contamination when used as a coating agent on a component element that is in contract with drinking water.
