APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR INFUSING OILS
An apparatus for infusing oils is provided that employs a removable pod that contains infusing material such that the resultant infusion is substantially free from particulate matter. The removable pod is comprised of a flexible bag that is expanded by an internally-disposed cage.
Press for extracting an infusion
An infusion extractor is provided including a plunger to be inserted into an infusing container containing the infusion mixture that has vertical inner walls oriented parallel to a vertical axis of the container. The plunger includes a first surface with a seal situated at an edge of the surface. The seal is adapted for sealing against the inner walls of the infusing container as the plunger moves within the container. The plunger also includes a second surface extending from the first surface and defining a second chamber. At least a portion of the extract flow openings are situated at a depth either above or below the first surface along the vertical axis.

SINGLE-USE CUP
A cup assembly including a body having an open upper end for receiving a fluid within an interior portion of the body defined by a generally continuous sidewall and a closed lower end. A filter assembly is disposed within the interior portion, and divides the interior portion into an upper chamber and a lower chamber. The filter assembly includes a perimeter portion fixedly engaging the sidewall, and a filter portion through which the fluid is capable of passing when the fluid moves between the upper and lower chambers. The perimeter portion includes a plurality of flanges disposed about a perimeter of the filter assembly.
Discharging device, brewing device comprising the discharging device and beverage maker
A brewing device includes the discharging device, and a beverage maker. The beverage maker includes a container, a brewing device, and a discharging device positioned in the brewing device. The discharging device includes a vertical pipe assembly and a siphon cover sleeved on the vertical pipe assembly. The vertical pipe assembly penetrates through the bottom of the brewing device and includes a first high-position vertical pipe and a second low-position vertical pipe. The siphon cover includes a first high-position part and a second low-position part. When the siphon cover is sleeved on the vertical pipe assembly, the first high-position part covers on the first high-position vertical pipe, and the second low-position part covers on the second low-position vertical pipe.

Method and Apparatus for the Enhancement of the Aqueous Extraction of Plant Material
The invention relates to a method for the improving the extraction of one or more components from a plant material when adding a liquid to the plant material which is either hot, cold or mid-temperature so as to cause the extraction of the one or more components. During, or after, the addition of the liquid, the liquid is exposed to electromagnetic signals at one or a range of frequencies and, in one embodiment, the said signals are provided in a pulsed manner such that there are periods of electromagnetic frequency signals being generated and periods where there are not. This is found to enhance the extraction of the one or more components. In one embodiment the liquid is water and is added to the plant material to create a beverage such as a tea or infusion. In one embodiment the electromagnetic emitting means can be suitably design or controlled apparatus and, in one embodiment, is a smartphone, tablet or similar device with a controlling app thereon.
