The discharging device includes a vertical pipe assembly and a siphon cover sleeved on the vertical pipe assembly. The vertical pipe assembly penetrates through the bottom of the brewing device and includes a first high-position vertical pipe and a second low-position vertical pipe. The siphon cover includes a first high-position part and a second low-position part. When the siphon cover is sleeved on the vertical pipe assembly, the first high-position part covers on the first high-position vertical pipe, and the second low-position part covers on the second low-position vertical pipe.

A brewing device includes the discharging device, and a beverage maker. The beverage maker includes a container, a brewing device, and a discharging device positioned in the brewing device. The discharging device includes a vertical pipe assembly and a siphon cover sleeved on the vertical pipe assembly. The vertical pipe assembly penetrates through the bottom of the brewing device and includes a first high-position vertical pipe and a second low-position vertical pipe. The siphon cover includes a first high-position part and a second low-position part. When the siphon cover is sleeved on the vertical pipe assembly, the first high-position part covers on the first high-position vertical pipe, and the second low-position part covers on the second low-position vertical pipe.

A capsule for preparing beverages, in particular coffee, is described, comprising a containing body having a first portion, the containing body defining an internal volume adapted to contain a substance to be infused, the first portion being composed of: a first perimeter edge; a first central portion onto which at least one external pressing force is applied; a first crown portion collapsible towards inside the containing body under the action of the pressing force exerted at least on the first central portion and/or on the first crown portion, the first crown portion being interposed between the first perimeter edge and the first central portion, the first crown portion being connected on its perimeter to the first perimeter edge by interposing a first bending line and being connected to the first central portion by interposing a second bending line.

A beverage brewer includes a container, a container collar, a brewing material holder, a mesh element, and a drive assembly. The container has an open top, a closed sidewall, and a closed bottom. The container collar is configured to cover a rim of the open top. The brewing material holder is configured to hold brewing material and to be suspended from the container collar and into an interior of the container. The brewing material holder includes a sidewall having an opening, an open top, and a bottom. The mesh element covers the opening in the sidewall of the brewing material holder. The drive assembly is positionable on the container collar and is configured to be mechanically coupled to and rotate the brewing material holder.

A beverage extraction device includes: a cylinder, having a bottomed cylindrical shape, having a lower-surface opening which is closed with a bottom portion; a mesh member, having a disk shape, having a plurality of through holes, moving close to and away from the bottom portion to extract beverage from beverage raw material and hot water, fed through an upper-surface opening of the cylinder, so that the extracted beverage is discharged through an extraction passage connected to the bottom portion; an ultrasonic vibrator provided on the bottom portion; and a control unit, when a cleaning instruction is given, driving the ultrasonic vibrator in a state where the hot water is stored in the cylinder to apply ultrasonic waves to the hot water, and causing the mesh member to move close to and away from the bottom portion.

A beverage extraction device includes: a cylinder, having a bottomed cylindrical shape, having a lower-surface opening which is closed with a bottom portion; a mesh member, having a disk shape, having a plurality of through holes, moving close to and away from the bottom portion to extract beverage from beverage raw material and hot water, fed through an upper-surface opening of the cylinder, so that the extracted beverage is discharged through an extraction passage connected to the bottom portion; an ultrasonic vibrator provided on the bottom portion; and a control unit, when a cleaning instruction is given, driving the ultrasonic vibrator in a state where the hot water is stored in the cylinder to apply ultrasonic waves to the hot water, and causing the mesh member to move close to and away from the bottom portion.

An autonomous beverage maker, system and method for fresh brewed coffee, tea, and other beverages, responsive to sensed demand or inputted command, makes an initial beverage extract concentrate in a turbulent manner under unpressurized conditions, and then a dilute/secondary extract under pressurized conditions and mixes the initial extract and dilute to complete a beverage batch, successive secondary extracts/dilutes being made as required or desired to meet flavor, strength, etc., successive batches being rapidly made as required to meet demand, maintain level, etc. A parameter or parameters within a receiving or dispensing container is/are autonomously monitored to determine level, demand for additional beverage, beverage age, and or/other information, and responsive to the monitored information or an inputted command, the beverage maker autonomously adapts the beverage making operation or executes predetermined steps, such as, but are not limited to, making more or fewer beverage batches, or signals to dispose of existing beverage.
