System and Method for Foaming Milk
The system for foaming milk comprises a container (2) for milk; an air inlet (3); a pump (4), wherein liquid milk is mixed with the air in order to produce foamed milk; and an outlet (6), wherein foamed milk is supplied, wherein the container is a container for powdered milk, and wherein the system for foaming milk further comprises a tank (8) for water and a premixing chamber (9). In the method for foaming milk, the milk is provided as powdered milk and is premixed with water in order to provide liquid milk which is mixed with the air in order to produce foamed milk. It enables a system and method for foaming milk to be provided which achieves the foaming of the milk with a “gel” effect from dehydrated powdered milk, the durability of which is much greater than liquid milk.
Method for preparing a beverage
A method for preparing a beverage from a substance contained in a capsule is provided. The method includes rotationally driving the capsule at an adjustable rotational speed while feeding liquid into the capsule and draining the beverage produced in the capsule by a beverage draining means. Flow resistance of the beverage draining means is modified by at least one valve, and a state of the at least one valve is controlled by external valve operating means to modify the flow resistance of the beverage draining means while draining the beverage. The external valve operating means applies a force from outside the beverage draining means, and a magnitude of the force is not based on the beverage flowing inside the beverage draining means.
SYSTEM, APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PREPARING A BEVERAGE CARTRIDGE
A system for beverage cartridge preparation allows users to self-select, self-fill, and self-seal single use beverage cartridges for convenience. A frame assembly supports a cartridge handling system and a cartridge filling system. The cartridge filling system includes a fillable container and a portion dispensing system. The cartridge handling system includes a movement guide system moving the beverage cartridges, a sealing system for sealing the beverage cartridges after filling, and a motion system for actuating the cartridge handling system, the portion dispensing system, and the sealing system. The movement system includes mobility relative to operative members of the filling and handling systems and one or more single use beverage cartridges. Adaptive cartridge shapes and components are provided to fit a particular preparation system.
Beverage preparation apparatus of simplified actuation and process of operation of said apparatus
The present invention discloses an apparatus (1) for preparing beverages, in particular aromatic beverages such as espresso coffee and similar, from the brewing of a single portion (2) of a respective edible substance, whereby said apparatus (1) comprises a portion collection disposition (3) adapted for collecting said single portion (2) of edible substance and a beverage discharge (5), and is advantageously configured so as to simplify the actuation of respective portion collection disposition (3), and to be operated in portable manner, for example in the form of a compact apparatus, recipient, or transported, for example in the form of backpack, or trolley, along a given distance autonomously relative to external energy sources. The present invention further discloses a process for distribution of beverages by means of a beverage preparation apparatus.
Milk frothing apparatus
A milk-frothing apparatus for preparing high quality micro-foamed milk for coffee drinks consistently and at high volume. A machine having one or more steaming stations includes an elevator at each station with an elevator-mounted steaming wand have a precise angle at the discharge end. The elevator-mounted steaming wand is configured to travel from an upward stowed status to a downward deployed status to insert the discharge end of the elevator-mounted steaming wand into milk inside a pitcher precisely located on the machine. A steam boiler is hydraulically coupled to the elevator-mounted steam wand via flexible tubing and an infrared sensor monitors the temperature of the pitcher during a downward deployed status. An LCD screen with operator controls and displays oriented to coincide spatially with the elevator indicate different operational settings selected by the user and related to machine operation.

The invention concerns a system of: —a beverage preparation apparatus, wherein said apparatus comprises a mainframe (1) supporting a diluent supply (4), at least two container areas (11) with identification means reader device (13), at least two dissolution chamber areas (12), with identification means reader (14), and a user interface (16), and—a multiplicity of containers (2), with identification means (23) identifying the nature of the soluble beverage ingredient the container is designed to store, and—a multiplicity of dissolution chambers (3) with identification means (34) identifying the nature of the soluble beverage ingredient the dissolution chamber is designed to dissolve, wherein the apparatus comprises a control system (18) configured for comparing, for each pair of a container housed in a container area and a dissolution chamber housed in the chamber area positioned under the container area and receiving the soluble beverage ingredient from said container, the identification means (34) of the dissolution chamber and the identification means (23) of the container.
BEVERAGE BREWING ASSEMBLY
A beverage brewing assembly includes a mixing chamber configured to receive a first beverage material and defining an aperture configured to be selectively opened. A hot water source is operably coupled with the mixing chamber and is configured to selectively provide a predetermined quantity of hot water to the mixing chamber and thereby form a mixture comprising the first beverage material and the predetermined quantity of hot water. A brew basket is positioned below the mixing chamber and includes an outlet at a bottom of the brew basket. The brew basket is configured to house a second brewing material and is configured to receive the mixture from the aperture of the mixing chamber to interact with the second brewing material. A receptacle is positioned below the brew basket and is configured to receive a brewed beverage from the outlet of the brew basket.
COLD BREW COFFEE BREWING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A cold brew coffee brewing system to prepare cold brew coffee by extraction of coffee grounds with brew water in a single-past, non-immersion extraction operation uses a tower unit with first and second receiving locations to receive a pre-infusion container for preparation of a pre-infusion mixture of coffee grounds during a pre-infusion operation and to receive an extraction vessel containing the transferred pre-infusion mixture for extraction processing to prepare cold brew coffee product, which is collected in a collection container received in the second receiving location of the tower unit. A brew control system controls operation of the water dispensing system during a cold brewing process cycle, and including a controller unit having stored therein multiple profiles for different cold-brew coffee product that may be prepared at the direction of the controller unit. A network may include multiple such cold brew coffee brewing systems connected with a central server.

The document describes an assembly of a capsule and brew chamber for a beverage preparation machine. The brew chamber has a first brew chamber part including a cavity for the capsule, and knives for piercing the capsule. The aluminum capsule body is frusto conical shaped and has a bottom, a side wall, a flange and a lid for closing the capsule. The flange is configured to be held between the first and a second brew chamber part, to provide a seal cooperating with a rim of the brew chamber parts. The bottom includes a slanted wall portion under an angle with a longitudinal axis through the capsule, and configured for cooperating with the knives which engage therewith upon closing of the brew chamber. This enables centering of the capsule relative to the central axis of the brew chamber prior to piercing thereof.
