BAMBOO AND/OR VEGETABLE CANE COMPOSITE DECKING AND PROCESS
A bamboo and/or vegetable cane composite decking and process of manufacturing. The composite decking includes planks formed from a core of bamboo fibers and a polymer layer that covers the top, bottom, and opposing side surfaces of the core. The core includes mats of bamboo fibers stacked together into layers such that the vegetable fibers extend generally parallel to the axial direction of the core. The polymer layer includes a polymer material that protects the vegetable fibers within the core from environmental damage and provides impact resistance to increase the longevity and durability of the plank. The polymer layer can also include bamboo fibers and/or dust that are mixed in with the polymer material to further increase the toughness and durability of the polymer layer.
Shaped part, trim part for vehicle interiors, and device and process for producing the shaped part
A shaped part for a trim part for vehicle interiors with a support made of a mat that contains fibers. The support includes a recess on a visible side that extends in longitudinal direction, and a protrusion on a back side that extends in longitudinal direction and corresponds with the recess on the visible side. The shaped part includes a plastic layer positioned in the area of the recess that is formed from a material other than the mat and that is firmly bonded to the recess. A device for the production of the shaped part as well as a procedure for the production of the shaped part are provided.
Linear heat seal device
A liner heat sealing device used to fuse two or more sheets of plastic or vinyl together along a straight line using a heating element and a temperature control unit to control the temperature of the device, the device having three separate temperature zones along a linear axis, including a front preheating segment, a central fusing segment and a rear cooling section, each section provided on the common linear sealing device.
Wrapped V-Belt and Method For Manufacturing Wrapped V-Belt
The present invention relates to a wrapped V-belt containing: a belt main body containing a compression layer containing a compression rubber layer and a fabric-laminated body layer, a tension rubber layer and a tension member buried between the compression layer and the tension rubber layer; and an outside cloth that covers a periphery of the belt main body, in which the compression layer has a plurality of notch portions not covered with the outside cloth, and the notch portion has a top disposed in the fabric-laminated body layer.
COMPOSITE EXTRUSION WITH NON-ALIGNED FIBER ORIENTATION
Embodiments herein include compositions, extruded articles, and methods of making the same. In an embodiment, an extruded article is included. The extruded article can include an extruded segment comprising a first composition. The first composition can include a polymer resin, particles and fibers. The fibers can be disposed within the first composition exhibiting a substantially non-aligned directional orientation. In an embodiment, an extruded article is included having a first portion comprising a first composition having a first fiber orientation and a second portion comprising a second composition having a second fiber orientation. The first composition can include a polymer resin and fibers. The second composition can include a polymer resin, particles and fibers. The fibers of the second composition can be oriented more randomly than the fibers of the first composition. Other embodiments are also included herein.
