Method for Producing a Structuring Means for Texturing an Embossable Material Surface, in Particular a Resin-Containing Laminate Surface, and Structuring Means of this Kind
A method for producing a structuring means for texturing an embossable material surface, in particular a resin-containing laminate surface, including the steps of providing a web-shaped carrier material made of paper and/or plastic, applying a UV-curable lacquer layer made of acrylated oligomer to the carrier material, forming a three-dimensional embossed structure into the lacquer layer applied to the carrier material and curing the lacquer layer by irradiation with high-energy radiation, preferably UV light, during the molding of the embossed structure. The invention provides that before the UV-curable lacquer layer is applied at least one adhesion promoter layer including acrylated oligomer, a reactive diluent and a photoinitiator which reacts to high-energy radiation, preferably UV radiation, is applied onto the carrier material, and that the lacquer layer having the embossed structure is cured by irradiation with high-energy radiation, preferably UV light, to such an extent that, in the finished state, the structuring means has an average Martens hardness according to DIN EN ISO 14577 in the range from 10 to 80 N/mm.sup.2, preferably in the range from 30 to 80 N/mm.sup.2, the indenter used as a test body for measuring the Martens hardness being pressed into the surface of the lacquer layer having the embossed structure. A structure means is also disclosed.
Method of manufacturing a load structure
A method of manufacturing a load structure may include forming a panel having a first side and a second side, clearing a fill passage through the panel, providing a tool having a first portion, a second portion, and a cavity disposed between the first and second portions, disposing a film onto a surface of the first portion of the tool, disposing the panel within the cavity such that the second side of the panel engages the second portion of the tool, and the first side of the panel is spaced apart from the surface of the first portion of the tool defining a void, and injecting a coating through the fill passage such that the coating fills the void and the film adheres to the first side of the panel.
Composite label and method of making
A method for making labels comprising providing a plastic substrate layer and a paper substrate layer. The paper substrate layer comprises a printed display information sheet, wherein the printed display information sheet comprises a plurality of display information tags arranged in an array. The plastic substrate layer is coupled to each of the rows of display information tags within a first portion of the display information tags to form a composite substrate row. A first line of perforations is cut into a width of the composite substrate at one or more first spaced intervals, a length of the first spaced intervals being defined by a length of the display information tags. A second line of perforations is cut into a width of the composite substrate at one or more second spaced intervals, a length of the second spaced intervals being defined by a height of the display information tags.
Method for producing a decorative part and decorative part producible by this method
A method for producing a decorative part which comprises a visible side with a decorative layer and a mounting side with a substrate layer, wherein a polysilazane-containing composition is applied to the visible side of the decorative layer to form a cover layer and is subsequently cured. Also, a decorative part producible by the method.
Polypropylene coated paper and paperboard
The present invention relates to paper or paperboard comprising cellulose fibers, said paper or paperboard comprising at least one coating layer formed by extrusion coating of a PP (polypropylene) resin, characterized in that the PP resin comprises at least 50% by weight of a branched PP copolymer having a density in the range of 890-910 kg/m.sup.3 (as determined according to ISO 1183), a melting temperature in the range of 155-170 C. (as determined according to ISO 11357-3), and a melt flow rate (230 C./2.16 kg) in the range of 10-15 g/10 min (as determined according to ISO 1133), and wherein the PP resin is applied to the paper or paperboard at a grammage of less than 30 g/m.sup.2.
Method for producing a structuring agent for texturing an embossable material surface, in particular a resin-containing laminate surface, and structuring agent of this kind
A method for producing a structuring agent for texturing an embossable material surface, in particular a resin-containing laminate surface, including the steps of providing a web-shaped carrier material made of paper and/or plastic, applying a UV-curable lacquer layer made of acrylated oligomer to the carrier material, forming a three-dimensional embossed structure into the lacquer layer applied to the carrier material and curing the lacquer layer by irradiation with high-energy radiation, preferably UV light, during the molding of the embossed structure. The invention provides that before the UV-curable lacquer layer is applied at least one adhesion promoter layer including acrylated oligomer, a reactive diluent and a photoinitiator which reacts to high-energy radiation, preferably UV radiation, is applied onto the carrier material, and that the lacquer layer having the embossed structure is cured by irradiation with high-energy radiation, preferably UV light, to such an extent that, in the finished state, the structuring agent has an average Martens hardness according to DIN EN ISO 14577 in the range from 10 to 80 N/mm.sup.2, preferably in the range from 30 to 80 N/mm.sup.2, the indenter used as a test body for measuring the Martens hardness being pressed into the surface of the lacquer layer having the embossed structure. A structuring agent is also disclosed.
