A cooking assembly can include a cooking vessel, a mixer, and a motor. The cooking vessel can include a bottom contact portion including a first bore therethrough, a heating portion spaced above the bottom contact portion and including a second bore therethrough, and a sidewall connected to the heating portion and together with the heating portion configured to retain food in the cooking vessel. The mixer can be located within the cooking vessel, where the mixer configured to rotate relative to the heating portion. The motor can be connected to the mixer via the first bore and the second bore to drive the mixer to rotate.

Various novel aspects of the cooker provide for thermal energy management within the firebox space such that temperature sensitive components of a wood pellet storage, delivery and combustion subsystem (e.g., electronic controllers, motors, pellet hopper and auger) may be housed within the firebox space, I.e., housed internal to the ovoid structural envelope of the cooker.

A solar powered warming container apparatus for keeping food warm for prolonged periods of time includes a container body having a container sidewall, a container bottom, and an open container top side. The container body stores warm food. A plurality of heating coils is coupled within the container body. A lid has a lid bottom side is selectively engageable with the container sidewall to seal the container top side. The lid is fully separable from the container body. A solar panel is coupled to a lid top side. A converter is coupled within the lid and is in operational communication with the solar panel and with the plurality of heating coils. A power switch is in operational communication with the plurality of heating coils to selectively turn on or off the heating coils when the converter is supplying power to the plurality of heating coils.
