Thermoplastic resin film and production method thereof, in-mold molding label, and plastic container with label and production method thereof
A thermoplastic resin film of the present invention contains at least a base layer containing a thermoplastic resin and a heat seal layer containing a thermoplastic resin; a melting point of the thermoplastic resin contained in the heat seal layer is lower than a melting point of the thermoplastic resin of the base layer; a core roughness depth Rk of a surface of the heat seal layer being from 1.2 to 9.0 m; and a ratio Rzjis/Rk of a ten point height of roughness profile Rzjis to a core roughness depth Rk of the surface of the heat seal layer measured in accordance with JIS B0601:2013 Appendix 1 being from 2.0 to 9.0.
In-mold carpet lamination
A process for fabricating a molded carpet laminate includes supporting a carpet layer in a molding tool that has mold dies that define a mold cavity. The mold dies are then moved from an open position to a partially closed position. In the partially closed position, a heated polymer material is injected into the mold cavity. The heated polymer material incompletely fills the mold cavity on the working side of the carpet layer. The mold dies are then moved from the partially closed position to a closed position to spread the heated polymer material and fill the mold cavity on the working side of the carpet layer to form a molded polymer wall. The molded polymer wall adheres to the working side of the carpet layer to form a molded carpet laminate. The mold dies are then moved from the closed position and the molded carpet laminate is cooled.
Methods and apparatus to couple a decorative layer to a panel via a high-bond adhesive layer
Methods and apparatus to couple a decorative layer to a panel via a high-bond adhesive layer are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a panel, a high-bond adhesive layer fixed to the panel, a liner fixed to the high-bond adhesive layer that is fixed to the panel, and a first decorative layer removably coupled to the liner that is fixed to the high-bond adhesive layer via a second adhesive layer. The high-bond adhesive layer is to impede at least one of gas or vapor from escaping the panel to deter the at least one of gas or vapor from exerting a pressure on the first decorative layer to deter a portion of the first decorative layer from separating from the panel.
Method for forming encapsulation assembly, and vehicle window
A method for forming an encapsulation assembly, and a vehicle window are provided. The method includes: providing a reinforcement component; forming a primer layer covering a surface of the reinforcement component; performing a heating treatment on the reinforcement component after the primer layer is formed, to elevate a temperature of the reinforcement component; and injecting a gasket material in a mold onto the surface of the reinforcement component with elevated temperature to form a gasket. The vehicle window includes a glass; and the encapsulation assembly formed by the above method. The gasket may bind with the primer layer more closely. That is to say, binding force between the reinforcement component and the gasket may be increased. In this way, the gasket may not easily detach from the reinforcement component.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING IN-MOLD DECORATIVE MOLDED PRODUCT
A method of manufacturing an in-mold decorative molded product including a transfer layer formed on a surface of an injection-molded product, the method including: inserting in a first mold for injection molding an in-mold transfer film including the transfer layer disposed on a base film; forming a molding injection space by mold clamping of the first mold and a second mold including a structure for injecting a resin into the molding injection space and a structure for holding a molded product; and forming a molded product by filling the molding injection space with a molding resin and then opening the second mold and the first mold, wherein when the base film is separated from the in-mold decorative molded product integrated with and the transfer layer by opening the molds, a peeling weight varies depending on a portion in an end part of the in-mold decorative molded product so that a peeling starting point is generated from a position with a light peeling weight in the in-mold transfer film to peel the in-mold decorative molded product from the in-mold transfer film.
Method of Producing a Lens with an Embedded Foil
A lens with an embedded foil is produced by positioning a foil on a holder, providing adhesive attachment dots on the foil on surface portions opposite to the holder, positioning a front mould ensuring the contact of the dots with a front mould surface, retracting the holder and positioning a back mould opposite to the front mould. The mould is then connected with a sealing bridge to build an assembly forming a mould cavity with a pouring opening. The edge of the foil is spaced apart from the bridge and the assembly has passages between the dots, the foil, and the front mould surface allowing pouring a monomer into the cavity before curing the monomer, decomposing the assembly and cutting the lens from the polymer block.
Play ball with foam filling
A play ball has a rubber shell filled with resilient foam having an entire outer peripheral surface thereof intimately attached by heat fusion and adhesive to an entire interior surface of the shell. Such attachment enables the foam to provide additional resiliency by foam tension, as well as by foam compression, thereby significantly extending the effective bounce life of the ball. A seamed dog chew toy has essentially similar construction such that the increased retention force provided by the intimate attachment of the foam to the shell resists the chewing force of the dog popping a seam improving durability.
Real wood film and method of manufacturing injection-molded real wood product by using the same
Disclosed herein are a real wood film and a method of manufacturing an injection-molded real wood product by using the real wood film. The real wood film includes: a sliced veneer; a non-woven fabric adhered to the bottom surface of the sliced veneer by means of a non-aqueous adhesive, and configured to protect the sliced veneer from moisture; a formation improvement layer adhered to the bottom surface of the non-woven fabric, and configured to prevent the sliced veneer from being wrinkled due to heat applied to the sliced veneer and prevent a crack from occurring; and a thermoplastic adhesive layer adhered to the bottom surface of the formation improvement layer, and configured to enable adhesion to injected resin.
Decorative Housing and Manufacturing Device for Same
A housing included in a home appliance and used as a decorative housing is shaped like an inverted tray and includes a figure layer, a non-woven cloth layer bonded to the figure layer via a bonding resin layer, and a substrate resin layer fixed to the figure layer while infiltrating gaps between fibers in the non-woven cloth layer. A predetermined cutout pattern is formed on a colored coating film applied to a front surface of the non-woven cloth layer.
STRUCTURE, ELECTRONIC APPARATUS, DECORATIVE FILM, AND STRUCTURE PRODUCTION METHOD
A structure according to an embodiment of the present technology includes a decorative film and a casing portion. The decorative film includes a metal layer that includes a first area in which an addition concentration of a predetermined element is relatively high, a second area in which the addition concentration is relatively lower than that of the first area, and minute cracks that are formed using the first area as a reference. The casing portion includes a to-be-decorated area to which the decorative film is to be bonded.
