Variable Level Steamer Insert
The Variable Level Steamer Insert is designed to be placed in an existing steamer pot. The Insert consists of a center tube and five plates that fit around the tube and can be assembled to add one, two, or three additional levels depending on the size and amount of food being steamed. The plates have a sleeve welded to the center which stabilizes the plates on the tube and the plates are held up with pins that are inserted into the holes of the tube, depending on the space that is needed between each plate. The center tube has holes the length of the tube and is capped with a removable cap. The steam exits the holes of the tube and allows the food to be evenly cooked in a convection method.
LASAGNA NOODLE COOKING AND DRYING RACK
A Lasagna noodle cooking and drying rack comprising, a plurality of noodle cooking shelves formed from a plurality of horizontal shelf arms and a plurality of horizontal support members with the horizontal shelf arms attached to a plurality of vertical shelf support structures at an incline to hold the noodles securely on their individual shelves during the cooking process. Cooking the noodles on their individual shelves prevents the noodles from sticking together and promotes even cooking of the noodles which in turn prevents them from breaking apart when they are removed from the cooking water. The Lasagna noodle cooking and drying rack has a removable handle which can be hooked on to the two end vertical support structures to lift the rack from the cooking pot. The Lasagna noodles can be drained and dried on their individual shelves after the rack is lifted out of the cooking water.

Roasting and glazing method
A method of roasting nuts comprises placing water and a mixture of nuts and sugar in a roaster bowl, mixing the water and mixture, heating the roaster bowl during mixing to roast and sugar coat the nuts, covering the roaster bowl with a cover after roasting and sugar coating, adding water to a reservoir disposed within the cover wherein the reservoir includes at least one metering hole, flowing through the metering hole, from the reservoir to the roaster bowl, the water added to the reservoir, glazing the nuts during the flowing of water into the roaster bowl from the reservoir, and removing the cover from the roaster bowl after glazing the nuts. The measured flow of water through the reservoir results in well coated glazed nuts and prevents the formation of a large burst of steam, thus protecting the operator against being scalded during glazing of the roasted nuts, as well as providing other benefits.
Oven, as well as a method for stirring foodstuff contained in a vessel disposed in the cooking cavity of such an oven and a stirrer member for such an oven
An oven comprises a cooking cavity, a stirring member extending, in use, into foodstuff contained in a vessel disposed in the cooking cavity as well as drive means to provide, in use, relative movement between the stirring member and the vessel. The oven comprises a displacement device to move the stirring member from outside the cooking cavity through an opening in a wall bounding the cooking cavity into the cooking cavity as well as, in use, into the vessel disposed in the cooking cavity.
AGITATOR
An agitator (10) for a kitchen device (68), the kitchen device (68) having: a vessel (56) with a bottom wall (62) and an upwardly extending side wall (70), the bottom wall (62) and the side wall (70) providing a space (72) to receive ingredients to be processed, the side wall (70) extending upwardly to a rim (74) that at least partly surrounds a top opening (76) to the space (72); a blade assembly (54) located in the space (72) to process the ingredients and to be rotatably driven in a rotation direction (22) about a generally upright axis (20); and a drive assembly to rotatably drive the blade assembly (54) about the axis (20); the agitator (10) including: a hub (12) to be coupled to the blade assembly (54) so as to be rotated thereby about the axis (20); a plurality of arms (14) fixed to the hub (12) and extending outwardly therefrom so as to have a major direction of extension that is generally radial relative to the axis (20); and wherein at least one of the arms (14) projects below said hub (12) so as to provide a scraping member (48) adjacent the bottom wall (62) to move ingredients relative to the bottom wall (62).
AUTOMATIC COOKING MACHINE HAVING A BLENDER
