A device for chilling and heating of fluids, particularly beverages and liquid foods, is provided. The heating or cooling device can include a container encasing an insulation system, a cover or lid for covering the container, and the insulation system. The insulation system can include a coil made of a temperature-conductive material and fashioned to connect to an inlet in the cover and to an outlet in the container. The cover can also include a fluid reservoir for accepting the liquid to be processed, and an open section providing a passageway for adding additional insulating material to the insulating system while the device is in use. Once the device is assembled, a liquid can be poured into the fluid reservoir, pass through the coil that carries the liquid through the insulating system, and exit the container as a chilled or heated liquid.

BABY BOTTLE WARMER AND MIXER

A method of heating and mixing contents is disclosed that combines heating and agitating of a bottle and its contents in order to achieve even warming, as well as, mixing the contents of the bottle.

INFANT BOTTLE SYSTEM

An infant bottle feeding system includes an infant bottle with a chamber that receives a liquid, heating or cooling elements operable to heat or cool liquid in the chamber and sensors operable to sense parameters of the liquid in the chamber. The system optionally includes an electronic base removably attached to a bottom surface of the infant bottle and operable to deliver power to electronics in the infant bottle. The system optionally includes a thermal cover that fits over the infant bottle and releasably couples to the electronic base to enclose the infant bottle, the thermal cover insulating the infant bottle and inhibiting heat loss of the liquid in the chamber. The electronic base delivers power to the heating elements and sensors in the infant bottle only when the infant bottle is on the electronic base. The infant bottle, thermal cover and electronic base define a single travel pack unit when coupled together.

Heat Lamp

A heat lamp is provided that minimizes visual obstructions between an individual and a food service line, while more evenly distributing heat across food. The heat energy penetrates into the food and does not merely heat the surface. Different heating capabilities can be provided by locating the lamp head at different positions over a large adjustable height range. Additional lighting elements provide illumination to heated surfaces to improve visual appeal. Each heat lamp on a service line may be connected to an adjacent heat lamp through built-in power receptacles. The surfaces of the heat lamp are sealed and/or made of easily cleaned substances and have features compliant to one or more industry standards. The heat lamp may be easily transportable and may be resistant to damage.

Systems and Methods for Achieving a User-Specified Temperature Profile in a Cooking Appliance Through Heating Control Algorithms

In one embodiment, a method includes, by an electromagnetic device, accessing multiple previously recorded heating maps corresponding to a load disposed inside a cavity, where each heating map indicates a temperature profile change of the load as a function of one or more control parameter configurations, accessing a target temperature profile of the load, measuring a current temperature profile of the load, calculating a difference in temperature profiles between the current temperature profile of the load and the target temperature profile of the load, determining a first sequence of control parameter configurations to heat the load, wherein the first sequence is optimized to yield a temperature rise that achieves the target temperature profile of the load, emitting electromagnetic radiation into the cavity based on the first sequence of control parameter configurations.

Drinkware container with active temperature control

An actively heated or cooled mug has a body with a chamber that can receive and hold a beverage and a heating or cooling system disposed at least partially in a cavity below the chamber. The heating or cooling system has a heating or cooling element to actively heat or cool the chamber, power storage devices, and circuitry that controls the operation of the heating or cooling elements. A user interface is electrically connected to the circuitry and has one or more selection members actuatable a) to turn off the one or more heating or cooling element or b) to adjust a temperature setting to one of multiple temperature settings configured to control the one or more heating or cooling elements to heat or maintain the liquid at a user selected temperature.
