Grill rotisserie
A rotisserie having a first support structure with a rotisserie motor affixed thereto, the rotisserie motor having a receptacle for receiving a spit rod. A second support structure defines a slot for receiving the spit rod. The first and second support structures are mounted to side shelves on a grill on opposite sides of a cooking grate. The side shelves each define at least one mounting aperture for retaining the support structures in upright positions.
Device for cooking food on a grill
The device comprises a square metal base plate with an anchor post, a tine holder that fits over the base plate anchor post, and a plurality shaped tines of circular cross-section that are inserted into the tine holder. The shaped tines are inserted into the food to be cooked. A plurality of tines are inserted into a hole on the tine holder. The tine holder assembly is then set atop the anchor post on the base plate such that the food is positioned vertically. The device is then placed directly on top of the upper grill surface.

A cooking apparatus (1) comprises a base (7) comprising a lower heater (2) defining a bottom cooking surface (4) where a foodstuff (F) to be cooked can be positioned; a cover (8) closable onto the base (7) and comprising an upper heater (3) defining a top cooking surface (5) and a lifting system (16) for moving the upper heater to and from the lower heater when the cover is closed onto the base; a database (103) storing a plurality of selectable cooking programs each including one or more cooking phases each associated with corresponding cooking parameters including a temperature of the upper heater and a distance (d) of the top cooking surface from the bottom cooking surface; and a controller (18) configured to control the operations of the lifting system and the upper heater based on the cooking parameters of a selected program.
ELECTRIC FOOD SMOKER
An electric food smoker includes a heating element that provides a main source of heat and a separate smoke element that is controlled independently from the heating element and provides heat to a wood chip box. Separate control of the heating element and the smoke element allows providing a cold smoke cycle for the food smoker. A hot smoke cycle provides independent control of the heating element and the smoke element according to a hot smoke program. A fast smoke cycle allows adding more smoke during any existing cycle.
Digital thermometers having heat vents and insulating layers for directing heat away from electronic components
A digital thermometer for cooking includes an outer casing having a bottom wall that defines a closed lower end and a side wall that projects upwardly from the bottom wall to define an open upper end, and a housing for electronic components disposed inside the outer casing and being surrounded by the side wall of the outer casing. A printed circuit board is disposed inside the housing, and a microprocessor and a visual display component are mounted on the printed circuit board. An insulating assembly is disposed inside the outer casing and is located between the bottom wall of the outer casing and the housing containing the electronic components. A temperature sensing probe projects from the bottom wall of the outer casing for obtaining temperature readings and transmitting the temperature readings to the microprocessor. The side wall of the outer casing is spaced from the housing to define a heat vent for dissipating heat.

In an apparatus for heating and/or cooking foodstuffs, in particular meat products, comprising an appliance housing with at least one opening, an accommodating device for the meat products to be heated, a heating device associated with the accommodating device and having one or more heating elements, the accommodating device has one or more accommodating compartments which is accessible by way of the opening, and an insertion cassette which corresponds to a respective accommodating compartment and which can be loaded with one or more meat products in a predetermined orientation relative to each other and is adapted to be introduced into and removed again from the accommodating compartment.

The present invention relates generally to cooking devices and, more particularly, to an apparatus comprising a shaft and a food engagement assembly for supporting and/or roasting food over a source of heat, such as a campfire, burning coals or the like.
Matchbox oven with heat sink temperature control
A matchbox oven is disclosed. The matchbox oven includes a housing, a slider, a mover and a heat source. The housing includes a cavity having a first and second openings. The mover moves the slider in and out of the cavity through the first and second openings. The heat source provides heat to the cavity for heating up any food item placed on a portion of the slider located within the cavity. The slider, which is configured to receive food items, includes multiple stoppers to serve as oven covers for preventing heat within the cavity from escaping through the first and second openings. When necessary, a portion of the slider can also be utilized as a heat sink for lowering the temperature of the cavity during oven operation.
Roller conveyor oven for heating while rotating and conveying a multiplicity of cylindrical food items thereon
A forced hot air roller conveyor drying assembly is provided. It consists primarily of two parts; a roller conveyor for rolling cylindrical elongated food members while transporting them horizontally from one end of the conveyor to the other, and a hot air drying assembly for blowing hot air around the product as it is being rolled. The combined rolling of the product and the drying of the product helps ensure that the physical roundness of the food product remains nice and uniform while it is being uniformly dried. The forced hot air assembly may include a fan and heating elements, the fan directing warm air to the product rolling horizontally through the assembly and the roller conveyor may be comprised of a multiplicity of paired roller members driven by chain links, which chains are in turn driven by an axle engaging a drive sprocket.
COFFEE ROASTING APPARATUS, COFFEE BREWING APPARATUS AND COFFEE ROASTING METHOD
A coffee roasting apparatus (100) is disclosed comprising a compartment (110) for holding coffee beans (10); a roasting element (140) for roasting the coffee beans in said compartment; and a controller (130) for controlling the roasting element. The controller is adapted to control the roasting element as a function of a change in the volume of the coffee beans residing in the compartment. A coffee brewing apparatus including such a coffee roasting apparatus and a coffee roasting method are also disclosed.
