The composite structural component also comprises an end fitting forming a mechanical joint with the end portion, the end fitting comprising an internal portion positioned captive within the elongate member in contact with the inner surface of the end portion; an external portion positioned in contact with an outer surface of the end portion; and an adjustable fastener extending axially between the internal and external portions to clamp the end portion between the internal and external portions. The inner surface of the end portion in contact with the internal portion extends towards the axis A at an increasing angle to the axis A.

Method of Bonding Perfluoroelastomeric Materials to a Surface

The invention includes a method of bonding a perfluoroelastomer material to first surface that includes: (a) contacting a first surface with a bonding agent comprising a curable perfluoropolymer and a curing agent; (b) curing the bonding agent to form a perfluoroelastomer material that is bonded to the first surface. In the practice of such method, the bonding agent may be a solution prepared by dissolving the curable perfluoroelastomer and the curing agent in a solvent. In an embodiment of the invention, the perfluoroelastomer material formed in step (b) is a coating layer or, alternatively, the first surface is a surface of a perfluoroelastomer member and the perfluoroelastomer material formed is a perfluoroelastomer weld.

The jack stand also includes a top for topping the post and for engaging with a load. Advantageously, the post may be lightweight (typically less than 12 kg) enabling the jack stand to be conveniently moved by a single person without exposing the person to significant risk of injury. At least one of a radially outward edge and a radially inward edge of the end rim may be non-circular. The end rim may be circumferentially continuous. The end rim may be an undulating annulus. The plurality of fiber strip guides may be configured to dispense a plurality of circumferentially adjacent first fiber strips with the plurality of circumferentially adjacent first fiber strips extending in a generally axial direction. The hoop fiber strip dispensing assembly may be configured to dispense a second fiber strip circumferentially about the center axis.

A roll rod for a vehicle includes: a front insulator connected to a powertrain; a rod bracket to mount the front insulator on a front end portion of the rod bracket; a case bracket disposed outside the rod bracket and fastened to a vehicle body; a stopping rubber formed at a rear end portion of the rod bracket and disposed in an inner space defined by the case bracket; and a rear insulator formed between the rod bracket and the case bracket, where the rear insulator is secured to an outer side surface of the rod bracket and an inner side surface of the case bracket. The roll rod enhances an insulation rate against vibration of a powertrain and improves durability while reducing manufacturing costs through the simple structure and application of an extrusion molding method.
