Exemplary embodiments of a kamado-style cooker pizza oven conversion device are disclosed. Certain embodiments detachably mount within a kamado-styled cooker such that the lid of the cooker rests at an angle on the top of the device and thereby “closes off” and defines a cooking space within the interior that takes advantage of the pizza oven-like features of a kamado cooker. With an embodiment of the solution installed in a kamado cooker, an open doorway or window is defined for allowing a user to insert a pizza into the cooking space and place the pizza on a pizza stone held by the device. Embodiments allow for cooking to occur simultaneously via conductive, convective and radiant thermal energy transfer.

SINGLE OPENING VENT FOR STEAM AIR FRYER

A cooking system is provided. The cooking system includes a housing, a lid, a heating element, a vent tube, and a piston. The housing has a hollow interior. The lid is movable relative to the housing, where the lid and housing cooperate to form a cooking chamber. The heating element is mounted within the lid. The vent tube is arranged within the lid and extends between the cooking chamber and an external environment. The vent tube includes an inlet channel, an outlet channel, and a central channel arranged between the inlet and outlet channel. A piston is arranged within the central channel and configured to alternate between a venting and a non-venting position such that a low-moisture fluid is drawn through the inlet channel into the cooking chamber from the external environment, and a high-moisture fluid is evacuated through the outlet channel into the external environment from the cooking chamber.

ROASTING AND GLAZING APPARATUS

A roasting and glazing apparatus includes a roaster, an agitator mounted within the roaster bowl for mixing a mixture of nuts and sugar during a roasting or glazing operation, a heater controlled to heat the roaster bowl during the roasting or glazing operation, and a cover removably mounted to the roaster bowl. The cover includes a reservoir for receiving water from a user and restricting water flow from the reservoir into the mixture of nuts and sugar in the roaster bowl. The cover and the roaster bowl together define a vent on a side of the cover opposite the reservoir. The vent is configured to direct steam out of the roaster bowl in a direction away from the reservoir.

A roasting and glazing apparatus includes a roaster, an agitator mounted within the roaster bowl for mixing a mixture of nuts and sugar during a roasting or glazing operation, a heater controlled to heat the roaster bowl during the roasting or glazing operation, and a cover removably mounted to the roaster bowl. The program includes a steaming stage to steam the meat during which the controller, for a first period of time, controls the humidifier, the fan, and the heating element to generate a first wind speed within the food preparation chamber and keep a temperature within the food preparation chamber between 60-70° C.; a drying stage to dry the steamed meat after said steaming stage during which the controller controls the fan and the heating element for a second period of time to increase a wind speed and reduce a humidity; and a roasting stage to roast the dried meat during which the controller controls the heating element for a third period of time to keep the temperature between 140-160° C.
