The present invention provides a die assembly for molding a resin-made insert having a sleeve that is inserted into an intake port of an internal combustion engine. Each sleeve has one inlet and two outlets. The die assembly includes an inner die and an outer die. The inner die includes an inlet side part and an outlet side part. The inlet side part and the outlet side part mold an inner peripheral surface of the sleeve in an assembled state, and are removed in mutually opposite directions. By means of this assembly, a sleeve having a complicated structure and shape can be molded easily.

METHODS FOR FORMING A TUBING ASSEMBLY

A tubing including an overmold is connected to a fitting by welding the overmold to the fitting. Methods for doing the same are also provided. Also provided are methods for forming an overmold on a tubing or on a tubing and fitting assembly.

INJECTION MOLD, RESIN MEMBER, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING RESIN PRODUCT

An injection mold including a gate and a cavity, where the injection mold is configured such that a weld portion is formed inside the cavity by injecting molten resin containing reinforcing fibers from the gate into the cavity; a cavity surface of the injection mold has a ridge portion 140, which protrudes into the cavity, in a vicinity of an end portion on a downstream side in a resin flow direction of the cavity; and the ridge portion is distanced from the weld portion in a direction intersecting a weld extending direction of the weld portion, and extends in a direction intersecting the weld extending direction.

Method of joining pipes and apparatus for facilitating the same
10612710 · 2020-04-07 ·

An apparatus and method for joining pipes includes a plate for melting mating surfaces of the pipes to be joined. Additionally, the apparatus utilizes a vacuum in order to push the first and second pipes together in lieu of hand or mechanical pressure which may be inconsistent. Additionally, the vacuum allows the pipes to be joined to settle on each other in order to create a pressure about a periphery of the end of the pipe being joined to the other pipe. The consistent pressure creates a very strong joint between the first and second pipes.

Molded body and manufacturing method thereof

A molded article comprising a fuel-barrier layer formed of a resin composition comprising a polyamide resin (A) as a continuous phase and a resin (B) as a disperse phase, wherein (A) is a polyamide resin (A1) comprising at least one of a constituent unit derived from a lactam having 10 to 12 carbon atoms and a constituent unit derived from an aminocarboxylic acid having 10 to 12 carbon atoms, or a polyamide resin (A2) comprising a constituent unit derived from an aliphatic diamine having 6 to 12 carbon atoms and a constituent unit derived from an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having 10 to 12 carbon atoms, the (B) is a resin selected from a semi-aromatic polyamide resin, the ratio by volume of (A)/(B) is 95/5 to 51/49, and the mean disperse particle diameter of (B) is 150 nm or more.

FLUID TRANSFER ASSEMBLY, A FLUID TRANSFER SYSTEM, AND A RELATED METHOD

Fluid transfer assemblies for transferring fluid into or out of a single vessel and distributing the fluid to multiple other vessels are provided. The fluid transfer assemblies are customizable, substantially aseptic, and single-use. The fluid transfer assemblies may be manufactured by solidifying polymeric materials to form a body around a mandrel with protrusions engaged to fluid conduits and leaving recesses in the solidified polymeric material to stretch the resultant body and remove the mandrel with protrusions. The resultant fluid transfer assembly may be surrounded by a rigid housing and valves may be engaged with the conduits and/or body to control the fluid flow within the fluid transfer assembly.

Connecting Assembly and Method for Manufacturing Thereof

A connecting assembly and method for manufacturing thereof, said assembly being intended for a fluid conduit facility, comprising at the least a tubular member made of flexible plastic material intended for the circulation of a fluid through it, at the least a substrate that surrounds the tubular member having a braided mesh configuration and a connecting member attached in at least one of the ends of the tubular member, wherein said connecting member is made up of a plastic material moldable by injection, being encapsulated at the end of a set formed by the tubular member and the substrate.

Pressure-medium unit, having a housing produced by injection molding and composed of plastic, and method for producing said pressure-medium unit

A pressure-medium unit includes a housing, which is produced by injection molding and composed of plastic, in the housing wall of which housing at least one connection bush having a passage opening is fastened, through which pressure medium is fed into and/or led out of the interior of the housing. In the injection molding process of the housing, the connection bush, with the exception of the passage opening, is at least partially injection-molded into the housing wall.

COMPOSITE CONNECTORS AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
