A set of nestable and stackable cookware, for example, a set of pots and pans, is maintained in a stable configuration by stops attached to the outer walls of the cookware. Each stacked and nested item of cookware is supported on the rim of the lower item by two stops attached to its outer wall, on opposite sides of the item, so that the wall and base of the item is not contacting the lower item. Either or both of the stops include a handle extending outwardly from the stop.

A cooking appliance includes a housing, a cooking area or volume on or in the housing and a heater assembly for heating the cooking area or volume. The heater assembly includes a heater plate body with a surface having at least one groove therein. The groove includes both a deformable metal sheet element and a resistive heater element therein. The deformable metal sheet element is pressed between an outer surface portion of the resistive heater element and a surface portion of the groove to provide a thermal transfer path from the resistive heating element and to the heater plate body through the deformable metal sheet element.

A solid fuel cooking range is described herein. Embodiments enable the user to cook food on an upper grill while simultaneously heating a separate dish in a lower oven. In certain embodiments, heat may be applied to the oven from both the top and bottom. Heat and airflow may be controlled using a shroud which does not enclose the sides of the upper cooking area and separate end plates. Embodiments may be portable and lightweight which enables the solid fuel cooking range to be used while traveling and in emergency situations.

Disclosed herein is a detachable interlocking system for securing at least two articles together, the interlocking system including: a first interfacing portion; ii. a second interfacing portion; iii. the first and second interfacing portions being in complementary arrangement configured to engage with one another in a first engaged position and are moveable to a second interlocked position; iv. locking means to interlock the first and second interfacing portions together; v. reciprocating means to receive and accommodate the locking means; wherein movement from the first engaged position to the second interlocked position engages the locking means to interlock the first and second interfacing portions together.
