A cell of a brush making device for making at least a part of a toothbrush, having a pin unit having at least one pin, a pin holding sub-unit and a pin guiding sub-unit, the pin having a first section having a first end and a second section having a second end, the first section having a holding structure, and at least one spring section arranged between the first section and the second section, the pin holding sub-unit having a holding structure that is engaged with the holding structure of the pin for fixedly holding the pin, the pin holding sub-unit and the pin guiding sub-unit being arranged for being movable along a first direction towards and away from each other, and the pin guiding sub-unit having a channel for guiding at least a portion of the second section of the pin, the channel being inclined against the first direction.

A board is connected between the head and the first inner bottom of the recess such that the head is replaceable.

An example hybrid brush for cleaning a surface includes a mandrel, a molded first layer formed about the mandrel, where the molded first layer comprises a first material, and a molded second layer surrounding the molded first layer, where the molded second layer comprises a second material.

STRUCTURAL SUPPORTS FOR ADDITIVELY MANUFACTURED ARTICLES
Provided herein are methods for supporting a 3D-printed article while it is being produced. The methods can include printing the support structure along with the article, where the article can be removed from the support structure after the production process. In some embodiments, a method includes: determining a concave hull from an article to be 3D-printed, wherein the article to be 3D-printed comprises a plurality of fibers; determining one or more support pillars for connecting the article to be 3D-printed and a support surface; and printing the one or more support pillars and the article to be 3D-printed together using a 3D printing method. Also provided herein are methods for determining the geometry of the support structure and the supported 3D-printed article produced by the methods described herein.
