HYBRID MATERIAL POST-CMP BRUSHES AND METHODS FOR FORMING THE SAME
Provided is disclosure for hybrid material post-CMP brushes and methods for forming the same. Embodiments of a hybrid material post-CMP brush may comprise at least two layers, where the hybrid brush is used to clean various surfaces, such as surfaces of semiconductor substrates. An example hybrid brush for cleaning a surface includes a mandrel, a molded first layer formed about the mandrel, where the molded first layer comprises a first material, and a molded second layer surrounding the molded first layer, where the molded second layer comprises a second material.
Brush head and its producing device
A brush includes a brush head which comprises a brush support, and a plurality of brushing members integrally provided on the brush support, wherein the brushing members and the brush support are integrally formed together by heat treatment.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SHEET FOR USE IN TONGUE PLAQUE CLEANER
Provided is a method for manufacturing a sheet for use in a tongue plaque cleaner, capable of reliably cutting loops of thread members provided at a given density, and forming thread members each having a shape with an arc portion sufficient enough to scrape off tongue plaque, through steps that are simple, low-cost and suitable for mass production. A method for manufacturing a sheet 1 for use in a tongue plaque cleaner for scraping off tongue plaque, includes: a step of heating a sheet material having multiple looped thread members 2 protruding from one surface of the sheet material, at a temperature below the melting point of the thread members 2; and a step of forming first thread members 3, 8 and second thread members 4, 9 by cutting loops of the thread members 2 heated.
Brush roller and its manufacturing method and brush roller mold
A brush roller and its manufacturing method and brush roller mold is provided, the brush roller is manufactured by foaming a gaseous pore filler, while solving the problem of using a solid pore filler foaming method to manufacture the brush roller. In addition, the brush roller of the present invention has a plurality of fluid channels communicating between any adjacent two, and the plurality of fluid channels respectively extend to the surface of the brush roller to form pores to improve the fluid permeability of the brush roller, and in the brush roller manufacturing method of the present invention, after the PVA emulsified solution is cured, the compressive stress under the condition of the predetermined compression ratio can be formed to meet the expected brush roller, and it can be used to brush the circuit substrate.
One-piece, multi-component injection-molded brush and method for producing it
A brush with a bristle support tube and a set of injection-molded bristles, which are affixed to the bristle support tube, extend through the outer wall of the bristle support tube, and are of one piece with a plastic element that fills at least a part of the inside of the bristle support tube; the interior of the bristle support tube has at least one dividing wall that divides the interior of the bristle support tube into compartments that are separate from one another.
Method for producing a core brush comprising polyvinyl formalin bristles
A method of producing a brush for the cleaning of electronic components. In this method, a plastic core is prepared and submerged into a solvent to melt the outer surface of the core. While the outer surface of the plastic core is still partially melted, it is rolled through a trough of powdered polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) such that granules of PVA melt into and subsequently become embedded at the outer surface. As the solvent evaporates, the outer surface of the core re-hardens and the granules of PVA become firmly entrapped at the outer surface. The PVA covered shaft is placed in a mold, which is then filled with a PVA solution. As the solution cures, it forms a strong bond with the PVA granules that are embedded at the surface of the plastic core. Thereafter, the mold components are disassembled, leaving behind the finished cored brush.
Method of manufacturing an interdental cleaner
An elongated core comprising a nylon or polypropylene is extruded. An interdental cleaner portion, comprising fingers, is injection molded about a first portion of the core. The interdental cleaner portion has thermoplastic elastomer. A handle portion is injection molded about a second portion of the core. The handle portion has polypropylene.
Processes for manufacturing personal-care applicator
A personal-care applicator comprising at least one stem having a longitudinal axis, a proximal end including a handle, and a distal end opposite to the proximal end, and at least a first plurality of bristles ultrasonically welded to the stem and outwardly extending therefrom according to a first pre-determined pattern, wherein the elongated stem and the at least first plurality of bristles comprise ultrasonically compatible materials, and wherein the bristles are ultrasonically bonded to the stem through a direct ultrasonic bond between a surface of the stem and a lengthwise portion of each of the bristles. Process comprises providing a stem strip, wrapping a continuous yarn around a moving endless band, juxtaposing the continuous stem strip with the band's edge, ultrasonically welding the yarn portions adjacent to the band's edge to the stem strip at a predetermined density, removing the stem strip having the yarn ultrasonically welded thereto from the endless band, and cutting the stem strip into a plurality of applicator components.
Flexible strip brush, flexible belt brush, and method for manufacturing the same
A flexible strip brush element is constructed from multiple monofiliments arranged in a parallel fashion and attached at one end to a flexible base. The monofiliments are attached to the base by intermingling material from the base with material from the monofiliments. The free ends of the monofiliments collectively form a bristle end zone. A plurality of flexible strip brush elements may be bonded side-by-side so the free ends of the monofiliments form a common bristle end zone. The bonded flexible strip brush elements may take the form of a linear section or may be fashioned into an endless loop or jointless spiral.
COSMETIC APPLICATORS AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURE
A molded plastic applicator for cosmetics, such as a mascara brush, including an integral molded plastic panel that lies substantially in a mold plane when formed and is bent out of the mold plane to surround an extended longitudinal axis when the applicator is assembled. A plurality of openings, or projections such as bristles, are formed in or on the panel so as to be oriented substantially in a common pull direction transverse to the mold plane when the panel lies in the mold plane and to be oriented substantially radially of the longitudinal axis in directions distributed around the axis when the panel is bent to surround the axis. A retainer holds the panel bent out of the plane in surrounding relation to the axis. The panel may be formed as a plurality of free-ended limbs, radiating from a hub through which the longitudinal axis extends, and bent down around the axis; alternatively, it may be generally rectangular as formed, and bent into a cylinder about the axis, or it may be formed as a band that is wound helically about the axis. A method of making the applicator includes steps of molding the panel, bending the panel about the axis, and retaining the panel in the bent configuration.
