INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
[Object] To provide an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, and a program that make it possible to appropriately edit a three-dimensional object, and then reproduce the three-dimensional object. [Solution] An information processing apparatus including: a first acquisition unit configured to acquire default design information of a product; a second acquisition unit configured to acquire target information of a target to which the product is to be adapted; and a generation unit configured to generate design information adapted to the target from the default design information acquired by the first acquisition unit on a basis of the target information acquired by the second acquisition unit.
Method for producing abrasion resistant polyester fiber
Provided is an abrasion-resistant polyester fiber, which has, in particular, a strength within a specific range, an elongation within a specific range and a Young's modulus falling within a specific range in a specific elongation range on a stress-strain curve, to improve the abrasion resistance of a woven/knitted product for clothing using, in particular, a fine size polyester fiber. The polyester fiber is an abrasion-resistant polyester fiber comprising ethylene terephthalate as a main repeating unit, characterized by satisfying the following requirements: (1) the fineness being from 8 dtex to 200 dtex inclusive; (2) the single yarn fineness being from 1.0 dtex to 4.0 dtex inclusive; (3) the breaking strength being 3.5 cN/dtex or greater; (4) the breaking elongation being from 20% to 50% inclusive; and (5) the minimum differential Young's modulus being 20 cN/dtex or less in an elongation range of from 2% to 5% inclusive on a stress-strain curve of the fiber.
Customized, wearable 3D printed articles and methods of manufacturing same
The present invention relates to three dimensional (3D) printed garments and any wearable article, as well as to processes and methods of manufacturing the same. Image information obtained from a subject, for example, images and information related to a subject's body or body part(s) is used to generate a garment or wearable object with a customized fit. In particular, the present invention provides the collection of a subject's data (e.g., using image acquisition devices, methods and software), and use of the data to create a model (e.g., virtual model) that in turn is used to create a subject specific article of clothing or other wearable object.
ANTI-PERSPIRANT GLOVE
A garment material having a substrate layer and a coagulated layer of polymeric foam material having an open pore structure bonded to the substrate layer, wherein a bonding agent and one or more dressing compounds is adhered to the surface of the substrate layer and/or the surface of the coagulated layer of polymeric material.
METHOD FOR APPLYING ELASTOMER AND A CABLE TO A FABRIC LAYER
In a method for supplying elastomer and a cable embedded in the elastomer to a fabric layer of a garment or a bandage, the elastomer is applied in a flowable state to the fabric layer via a nozzle and the cable is applied to the fabric layer via the same nozzle simultaneously with the elastomer, at least in some phases such that the elastomer encases at least part of the cable.
Protective Apparel and Methods of Making the Same
An article of protective apparel can include a first outer shell having a vacuum-formed first material. The first outer shell can include a first cavity, a second cavity, and a channel disposed between the first cavity and the second cavity. The protective apparel can include a first padding piece disposed in the first cavity, a second padding piece disposed in the second cavity, and a first inner layer attached to the first outer shell. the first padding piece and the second padding piece can be disposed between the first outer shell and the first inner layer.
Low profile heat transfer press
A heat press includes a lower platen and an upper swing arm attached to a base, and an upper platen having a heater therein. The upper platen is coupled to the upper swing arm via a piston rod, and operable via a linkage. The linkage includes a coupler linked between the upper swing arm and a print handle and includes an input link that rotationally couples the print handle to the piston rod such that a motion of the print handle moves the piston rod up or down. The heat press includes a control housing that is electrically coupled to the heater. The upper swing arm is operable to swing the upper platen away from the lower platen when not in contact with the lower platen. The control housing remains in a stationary position regardless of a position of the upper swing arm.
Anti-perspirant glove
A method of making garment material, the method having the steps: applying coagulant (34) to a substrate (32); applying a foam (38) of the polymeric material to the substrate (32); allowing the coagulant (34) to coagulate some of the foam (38); and removing uncoagulated foam (38) from the substrate (32) to leave a layer of coagulated polymeric material on the substrate (32).
Adhesive fabrication process for garments and other fabric products
A process for fabricating a three-dimensional, multi-layered fabric product with a moisture barrier is provided. A partially seamed inner lining fabric assembly having at least a two-dimensional shape is laminated with a membrane barrier film having flaps left un-laminated to cover at least one seam. The inner lining fabric assembly is further seamed and flaps of the of the membrane barrier film overlapped into contact with each other and sealed to provide a continuous moisture barrier. A process for fabricating a stretchable section of a garment with a moisture barrier is also provided. At least a section of a garment is formed from fibers arranged in a pattern having a direction of stretch in one direction and a three-dimensional surface texture such that a portion of the fibers protrude above another portion of the fibers. The stretchable section is stretched in the direction of stretch. Segments of a membrane barrier film are adhered to an outer edge of the protruding portion of the fibers while the section is stretched in the direction of stretch, leaving intermediate segments of the barrier film free from adherence to the section. In this way, the intermediate segments of the membrane barrier film include slack that folds up to form ruches when the section is in a relaxed state.
Removable drape fashion system
A fashion system including a shaped garment comprising a base material and a removable drape is provided herein. The removable drape may be attached to the base material such that corresponding shapes of the base material and the removable drape cooperate to hold the removable drape in place. The base material may be formed using a geometric cutting technique and the removable drape may be formed using a thermoforming technique to create a complementary drape system.
