The combination of sensors includes an Infrared (IR) camera that generates IR image data and at least one secondary sensor that generates secondary image data. The IR image data and secondary image data are processed to obtain combined image data. A trained convolutional neural network is employed to automatically compute an output based on the combined image data. The output includes information about the identity and the location of the food item. The output may further be utilized to command a robotic arm, kitchen worker, or otherwise assist in food preparation. Related methods are also described.

Fryer fire suppression system
A cooking system includes an appliance defining a food product volume and a fluid aperture fluidly coupled to the food product volume, a conduit configured to fluidly couple a fire suppressant supply to the fluid aperture, the fire suppressant supply being configured to provide a fire suppressant agent, a flow restrictor positioned along the conduit and configured to restrict a flow rate of the fire suppressant agent through the conduit, and a check valve positioned along the conduit. A portion of the conduit extends between the check valve and the fluid aperture and fluidly couples the check valve to the fluid aperture. The conduit is configured to introduce the fire suppressant agent from the fire suppressant supply into the food product volume of the appliance through the fluid aperture.

An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a cooker including: a housing; a pressure pot; an air fryer pot; a heater; and a fan. The pressure pot is configured to be disposed in the housing. The air fryer pot is configured to be disposed in the housing. The heater is disposed in the housing. The heater is configured to heat air outside the air fryer pot when the air fryer pot is in the housing. The fan blows the air heated by the heater into an inside space of the air fryer pot when the air fryer pot is disposed in the housing.
OIL MEASUREMENT DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MONITORING AN OIL SITUATED IN A TANK
For the monitoring of an oil situated in a tank 19, it is provided that an oil measurement device 1 be equipped with a rigid or flexible probe 2 such that, by the use of a pump 5 integrated in the oil measurement device 1, oil can be delivered out of the tank 19 via an inlet opening 3 at the proximal end of the probe 2 into a measurement chamber 4, which is connected to the probe, of the oil measurement device 1. Here, the oil measurement device 1 has a measurement sensor for determining the quality of oil situated in the measurement chamber 4, and the pump 5, in conjunction with the probe 2, is configured such that oil can be returned from the measurement chamber 4 to the inlet opening 3 and thus to the tank 19.
COMBINED AIR FRYER AND PRESSURE COOKER LID
The present invention provides a combination pressure cooker and air fryer lid that may be selectively coupled to a vessel. When the lid and the vessel are coupled, the lid may be adjustable between two positions. In the first position, the lid may be used for pressure cooking. In the second position, the lid may be used for air frying. To transition the lid from the first position to the second position, a handle on the lid may be rotated in a particular direction. Conversely, to transition the lid from the second position to the first position, the handle on the lid may be rotated in an opposite direction. Advantageously, in performing either of the pressure cooking or air fryer cooking functions, the lid need not be replaced.
Taco Shell Maker
A taco shell maker for holding tortillas during deep frying. The taco shell maker includes a generally round disk folded to create a body having two half round edges. Two opposing tabs are generally centered on the half round edges. The body is preferably a little larger than the tortillas made into the taco shells, for example ½ inch larger diameter than the tortillas before folding. The tabs are folded outward about 180 degrees to be generally parallel to the body. The tabs may include flared out ends to facilitate sliding an edge of the tortilla between the body and each tab. The taco shell maker further allows frying the taco shell in oil in a typical frying pan, not requiring a deep fryer and using much less oil than a deep fryer. The heat of the oil and pan allows the tortilla to contour to the taco shell maker.
