A functional and capable cosmetic composition, that is appeasing to the senses, particularly visual and psyche, useful for social interaction, and topical skin care application. The composition primarily includes oil, butter, wax, and prong. The composition is solid at room temperature. A method of making the composition includes melting oil, butter, and wax, optional essential oil, vitamin E oil, and coloring, to form a liquid solution. Then the liquid solution is poured into a shaped mold and cooled to form a solid shaped component. The solid shaped component is then partially melted at exposed area to form a semi-solid, prong inserted into the exposed partially melted area of the component, and cooled to harden. Upon composition hardening, its removed from the mold to form the functional and capable cosmetic composition. Optional wrapping can be applied to and around composition to further appease the senses and usefulness for social interaction.

A hair-retaining device is described as having a base material, a layer of epoxy resin, a compliant exterior layer disposed over the base material and joined to the base material of epoxy resin, and a top coat layer disposed over the compliant exterior layer. The method of making a hair-retaining device is described. The method involves extruding a base material to a predetermined shape, cutting the predetermined shape of the base material to a predetermined thickness, abrading a surface of the base material, applying an epoxy resin to the base material, and applying a compliant exterior layer disposed over the base material and joined to the base material by the epoxy resin.

A system and method for generating an eyebrow stencil comprises a user device. The user device comprises a camera, and a memory unit. The make-up artist module is configured to process the image to determine a plurality of eyebrow metrics, compare the plurality of eyebrow metrics with the plurality of eyebrow stencil metrics associated with each of the plurality of eyebrow stencil templates, and select at least one eyebrow stencil template from the plurality of eyebrow stencil templates based on the plurality of eyebrow metrics being identical to the plurality of eyebrow stencil metrics associated with the at least one eyebrow stencil template. The system further comprises a make-up artist device configured to receive information regarding the at least one eyebrow stencil template from the user device, and generate an eyebrow stencil based on the at least one eyebrow stencil template.

The invention relates to a method for producing a filled and closed container, in particular by way of the blow-moulding, filling and closing method, in which an initially open container part (52) that is held in a mould (46) and has been vacuum-moulded and/or blow-moulded by means of a blow pin is filled successively with media (74, 76) of different types, in particular viscosity, by means of metering units (12, 14) via its free, upwardly directed container-part opening (54), such that the filled-in media (74, 76) are separated from one another in the container part (52), and subsequently, by closing of the top mould halves (56, 58) of the mould (46), a container top part (60) is moulded and the container part (52) is closed, forming the container.

An automated method for producing fingernail tips. Reinforcing fibers are provided as a strip and the strip is moved at a specific travel rate in the longitudinal direction of the strip. The strip is covered on one side and impregnated with the plastic, and then shaped in a shaping station, where is it bent into a curve that corresponds substantially to the shape of a natural fingernail or toenail. The strip maintains its shape after the plastic is cured and the covering is then removed. The fingernail tips are punched from the strip in a cutting station. The automated method allows the strip to be continuously or virtually continuously transported and then the fingernail tips to be automatically counted, sorted, and packaged.

A method and an apparatus for cooling of casting molds, in particular for cooling of casting molds for cosmetic products, are described. The apparatus comprises at least one housing with at least one opening for at least partly inserting of at least one casting mold in the at least one housing. It further comprises at least one nozzle for generating of a humid mist within the at least one housing by mixing a gaseous and a liquid medium and for causing a convection within the at least one housing by introducing only the gaseous medium in the at least one housing.

A method and a system for heating of a casting mold, in particular for heating of casting molds for cosmetic products, is described. The system comprises at least an inductor for generating of at least one alternating magnetic field and at least one casting mold, wherein the casting mold consists substantially of a plastic material or an elastomer and is permeated with at least one additive, wherein the additive may be inductively heated.

A lip balm receptacle, comprising: a curved, multi-layered upper portion, formed by a single two-step overmolding injection process. The curved, multi-layered upper portion comprising: i) an interior layer having an outer surface that identifies the lip balm flavor contained in the lip balm receptacle; and ii) an exterior layer. The exterior layer may have a) an outer surface with a different texture, material, or visual appearance than the outer surface of the interior layer; and b) a durable cutout design that comprises at least one aperture through said exterior layer exposing the outer surface of the interior layer.
