Patio blocks with edge blocks

A kit including a plurality of interior paving blocks and a plurality of edge paving blocks.

FLOOR MATS AND METHODS OF PRODUCING THE SAME

Various implementations include a mat having a lower surface and first and second edge portions that define at least a portion of a perimeter of the mat. The mat also includes a plurality of ribs that extend away from the lower surface of the mat for contacting the floor. Each rib has a longitudinal axis that extends between ends of the rib, and at least a portion of the plurality of ribs includes one or more branches that extend transversely to the longitudinal axis and are axially spaced apart from each other. The ribs are spaced apart from each other over the lower surface such that adjacent ribs define a valley therebetween. Water and/or debris can flow through the valleys. In addition, the longitudinal axis of each rib intersects the first and second edge portions of the mat at angles that are greater than 0° and less than 90°.

FLOORING COMPONENT

A flooring component comprising a main body portion defining a first major surface and a second major surface, a first extending portion that extends from the main body portion in a first direction, the first extending portion defining a third surface coplanar to at least a portion of the first major surface, and a second extending portion that extends from the main body portion in a second direction opposite the first direction, the second extending portion defining a fourth surface coplanar to at least a portion of the second major surface, wherein at least 60% of the main body portion, the first extending portion and the second extending portion is of a first material, the first extending portion comprises a female structure on a side of the first extending portion opposite the third surface, the second extending portion comprises a male structure on a side of the second extending portion opposite the fourth surface, the flooring component comprises, in a region of at least one of the female structure and the male structure, a resilient portion of a second material more pliable than the first material, and the female structure is of a shape that snappingly engages the male structure using a resilience of the resilient portion.

Process for producing a surface covering with an embossed printed surface

A process for producing a surface covering with an embossed printed surface is described. A substrate (16) is continuously moved through a production line, and this substrate (16) is first provided, in a printing equipment (12), with a printed pattern and thereafter, in an embossing equipment (14), with an embossed pattern, which is registered with the printed pattern. The printing equipment (12) produces the printed pattern in-line with the production of the embossed pattern. During printing in the printing equipment (12), the printed pattern is stretched or compressed, dynamically responsive to indicators of misalignments between the printed pattern and the embossed pattern, so as to correct or prevent the misalignments. A production line for carrying out this process is also proposed.

Composite Epoxy Resin Board and Forming Method Thereof

A composite epoxy resin board, made from a raw material which includes the following weight percentage of components: waste prepreg powders of 5% to 100%, and waste printed circuit board (PCB) powders of 0% to 95%, is disclosed. The present invention adopts the waste prepregs as the main preparation raw material, which not only recycles and reuses prepreg scraps, but also reduces or even eliminates the use of adhesives due to the high epoxy resin content in the prepregs, while also reducing the glue-mixing time in the forming process, thereby simplifying the forming technology.

Floor panel and method for manufacturing a floor panel

A floor panel with a substrate and a decoration provided thereon. The substrate includes at least a foamed layer of thermoplastic material and at least a reinforcement layer. Additionally, a method for manufacturing such floor panels with a substrate and a decoration, where the substrate includes at least a foamed layer of thermoplastic material and at least a reinforcement layer.

Process for separating synthetic turf product

A process for separating synthetic turf product comprising includes the consecutive steps of: (a) downsizing the synthetic turf product into a downsized turf material; (b) separating the downsized turf material by sieving into at least a first fraction substantially comprising a mixture of backing material and additional components and a second fraction substantially comprising grass fiber components; (c) separating the first fraction by specific gravity to provide a low density fraction and a high density fraction; (d) separating the second fraction by specific gravity and size by providing an airflow directed upwards in a separator configured to cause a swirling motion whereby a lighter fraction is entrained upwards in the air flow and a heavy fraction is allowed to fall downwards; and (e) collecting the low density fraction and the light fraction.

Described herein is flooring formed of an eco-friendly material, where the flooring has excellent heat resistance, durability, abrasion resistance and dimensional stability, and is formed of a non-PVC material and thus is recyclable via an extrusion processing at the time of disposal after use. Specifically, eco-friendly flooring is described in which a coating layer, an overlayer having ionomers, a printing layer, at least one middle layer, and at least one underlayer are laminated in order, where the overlayer of the flooring has ionomers, at least one of the middle layer and the underlayer has a thermoplastic polyolefin-based resin, a styrene-based resin, oil, and a filler, the thermoplastic polyolefin-based resin is contained in an amount of 50 to 150 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the styrene-based resin, and the styrene-based resin may contain 25 to 45% styrene.

Applicator tip for dispensing seaming adhesive to seam adjacent pieces of floor-covering material and method for using same

An applicator for dispensing seaming adhesive onto the edges of pieces of adjacent floor-covering material is provided. The applicator tip can include, from top to bottom, a leg portion, a relatively narrow ankle portion and a foot portion. The body can connect with a seaming adhesive dispensing device to allow seaming adhesive to flow into a passageway in the body. The ankle portion includes an orifice extending through the applicator tip from side-to-side and intersects with the passageway so that seaming adhesive can flow through the orifice. The foot portion includes a pair of opposing wedges extending sideways from the body. The applicator tip can be drawn along a line of abutment between adjacent pieces of floor-covering material. The ankle portion can further include a glue channel that directs the edges of the floor-covering material towards the orifice so that seaming adhesive can be dispensed along the edges and along the bottom surfaces of the edges.
