Method of manufacturing a cover for a spa
A method of manufacturing a cover for a spa includes the steps of vacuum molding a first shell member and a second shell member, bringing the first and second shell members into registration with one another to define a hollow cavity therebetween, and injecting a foam into the hollow cavity, wherein the foam is configured to bond with the shell members to create a unitary structural part that provides increased strength and rigidity.
Plastic faucet body and a die for molding the same
The disclosure relates to a plastic faucet body and a molding tool. The faucet body includes a left water inlet pipe and a right water inlet pipe, wherein a left valve seat installation recess is formed in the left water inlet pipe and a right valve seat installation recess is formed in the right water inlet pipe. A connecting cross-beam is disposed between the left water inlet pipe and the right water inlet pipe, wherein the connecting cross-beam is provided with a water outlet and a middle water channel is formed within the connecting cross-beam. The middle water channel includes a left water inlet channel and a right water inlet channel, wherein the left water inlet pipe and the water outlet are connected with the left water inlet channel, and the right water inlet pipe and the water outlet are connected with the right water inlet channel, and the left water inlet channel and the right water inlet channel are arc-shaped or U-shaped.
Method to manufacture a razor handle
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing personalized razor handles.
CASTING MOLD FOR PRODUCING A CASTING HAVING A FRONT SIDE AND A REAR SIDE FROM A CURABLE CASTING COMPOUND
A casting mold for producing a casting having a front side and a rear side from a curable casting compound, including at least a first mold part shaping the front side and a second mold part shaping the rear side, the mold parts together delimiting a casting cavity. A slide device, provided on one of the mold parts, includes a slide portion that can be driven into the casting cavity and on which a detachable insert part is or can be arranged. The insert part is able to be moved abutting against the opposite mold part and is able to be embedded into the curing casting compound, and is detached from the slide portion when the latter is moved back.
Composite faucet body and internal waterway
A faucet includes an internal waterway at least partially formed of a first material. The internal waterway includes a valve seat, a conduit, and a unitary body. The valve seat is configured to receive water. The conduit is coupled to the valve seat. The conduit is in fluid communication with the valve seat and configured to receive the water from the valve seat. The unitary body is formed of a non-metallic material having a processing temperature less than a temperature at which the first material forming the internal waterway is undesirably affected, wherein the unitary body is molded around the internal waterway.
Animal litter
A litter and litter making method producing cat litter from a carbohydrate starch-containing cereal grain, e.g., corn, based admixture extruded from a single screw or twin screw extruder forming pellets having a clumping agent formed during extrusion composed at least in part of carbohydrate polymer binder. Each pellet is extruded under conditions that cause formation of carbohydrate polymer binder clumping agent at least some of which is water soluble. One preferred method of extruding cat litter causes starch dextrinization to occur such that at least some of the carbohydrate polymer binder clumping agent in each pellet is formed of dextrin. Each pellet can be coated such as with a smectite that preferably is bentonite. During use, pellet extrusion formed clumping agent in a pellet wetted with urine dissolves and flows in between and along adjacent pellets causing them to clump together without the presence of any clumping agent additive.
INJECTION-MOLDED FAUCET BODY AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
The present invention provides an injection-molded faucet body and a method for manufacturing the same. The faucet body includes a plastic housing constituting the outer layer thereof and a plastic inner core constituting the inner layer thereof. When the plastic inner core, among the same, is injection-molded using double plastic injection molding, a valve spool mounting groove, a cold water supply opening, a warm water supply opening, a cold water supply tank, a warm water supply tank, and a water discharge tank are formed. In addition, sealing cover plates are installed in the cold water supply tank, the warm water supply tank, and the water discharge tank such that a cold water supply cavity, a warm water supply cavity, and a water discharge cavity are formed therein, respectively. The plastic housing is formed by performing secondary injection coating with regard to the plastic inner core.
Shaving razor interconnection mechanism and method of making simplified interconnection
A reduced cost interconnection for shaving razor cartridges. A base member is injection molded as a single continuous mass. The base member defines at least one void that may receive a mass increasing member. The base member has a handle portion integrally formed with a living hinge and an interconnection feature. The interconnection feature is biased to detachably engage a counterpart interconnection feature of a blade cartridge. Elastomeric reinforcement in over molded onto the base member to improve the structural integrity of the living hinge.
Curable casting compound, molded body made therefrom and method for producing the molded body
A curable casting compound, including a polymeric binder and at least one particulate filler incorporated therein, wherein the filler is ground fruit kernels and/or fruit shells, wherein either only the at least one filler composed of ground fruit kernels and/or fruit shells or additionally at least one further particulate inorganic filler is present.
SANITARY BASIN MOULDED PART
A sanitary basin molded part, for example a kitchen sink, a washbasin or a shower tray, has a main part (10) that has the shape of the sanitary basin molded part and ensures its mechanical stability. On the visible side of the sanitary basin molded part a covering layer (20) is arranged in at least one surface region on top of the main part (10). The covering layer includes a fibrous tissue (24) saturated with a cured binding agent. A method produces a sanitary basin molded part of this kind.
