Sanitary basin molded part and method for producing a sanitary basin molded part of this kind
A sanitary basin molded part, for example a kitchen sink, a washbasin or a shower tray, has a main part (10) that has the shape of the sanitary basin molded part and ensures its mechanical stability. On the visible side of the sanitary basin molded part a covering layer (20) is arranged in at least one surface region on top of the main part (10). The covering layer includes a fibrous tissue (24) saturated with a cured binding agent. A method produces a sanitary basin molded part of this kind.
COMPOSITE FAUCET BODY AND INTERNAL WATERWAY
A faucet includes an internal waterway. The internal waterway is at least partially formed of a first material defined by a maximum temperature. The internal waterway includes a valve seat configured to receive water and a conduit coupled to the valve seat and configured to receive the water from the valve seat. The faucet further includes a body formed of a second material having a processing temperature less than the maximum temperature of the first material forming the internal waterway, wherein the body is cast around the internal waterway.
Method of making animal litter
A litter and litter making method producing cat litter from a carbohydrate starch-containing cereal grain, e.g., corn, based admixture extruded from a single screw or twin screw extruder forming pellets having a clumping agent formed during extrusion composed at least in part of carbohydrate polymer binder. Each pellet is extruded under conditions that cause formation of carbohydrate polymer binder clumping agent at least some of which is water soluble. One preferred method of extruding cat litter causes starch dextrinization to occur such that at least some of the carbohydrate polymer binder clumping agent in each pellet is formed of dextrin. Each pellet can be coated such as with a smectite that preferably is bentonite. During use, pellet extrusion formed clumping agent in a pellet wetted with urine dissolves and flows in between and along adjacent pellets causing them to clump together without the presence of any clumping agent additive.
A DRAINAGE DEVICE
According to the invention, there is provided a drainage device (10) including a body (14) defining a passage (16) having opposing end regions (18) which extend between and interconnect overflow and drainage apertures (20) and (22) defined in the receptacle (12) to permit fluid flow therebetween, typically from the overflow aperture (20) via the drainage aperture or plug hole (22) to a drain (not shown).
Dispersible non-woven article and methods of making the same
A dispersible non-woven article, and methods of making the same. The dispersible non-woven article includes a web of fibers and a dried binder having a plurality of ultrasonic energy treated portions and a plurality of non-ultrasonic energy treated portions. The web of fibers has a basis weight of from about 10 gsm to about 150 gsm. The dried binder comprising a polymer having at least one functional group that is reactive with the fibers. The fibers have at least one functional group that is reactive with the polymer. The article has a cross direction wet tensile strength that is developed by the ultrasonic welding. The article is flushable.
METHOD TO MANUFACTURE A RAZOR HANDLE
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing personalized razor handles.
Method of shaping a tampon for feminine hygiene
A process of forming a shaped, dimensionally stable tampon includes the steps of: radially compressing a tampon blank to form a dimensionally stable intermediate pledget having an intermediate pledget diameter and a longitudinal axis; placing the intermediate pledget into a hollow carrier and inserting the intermediate pledget and hollow carrier into a mold; urging the intermediate pledget into the mold via a ram bearing on an end of the intermediate pledget contained within the hollow carrier and withdrawing the hollow carrier from the mold to permit the exposed end of the intermediate pledget to substantially fill the mold and to form the shaped, dimensionally stable tampon; removing the shaped, dimensionally stable tampon from the mold; and enclosing the shaped, dimensionally stable tampon in a primary package that conforms to the shape thereof. The mold has an access opening through which the hollow carrier can be withdrawn.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A FAUCET BODY FOR A SANITARY FAUCET AND A FAUCET BODY FOR A SANITARY FAUCET
A method for manufacturing a faucet body (1) for a sanitary faucet, having at least the following steps: a) production of the faucet body (1) in an injection mold, wherein the injection mold at least partially forms a brushed texture (3) on a surface (2) of the faucet body (1); b) coating the faucet body (1) with at least one first layer (4) comprising copper; and c) coating the faucet body (2) with at least one second layer (5) comprising a nickel-phosphorus alloy. A faucet body of plastic for a sanitary faucet is also proposed.
SHAVING RAZOR INTERCONNECTION MECHANISM AND METHOD OF MAKING SIMPLIFIED INTERCONNECTION
A reduced cost interconnection for shaving razor cartridges. A base member is injection molded as a single continuous mass. The base member defines at least one void that may receive a mass increasing member. The base member has a handle portion integrally formed with a living hinge and an interconnection feature. The interconnection feature is biased to detachably engage a counterpart interconnection feature of a blade cartridge. Elastomeric reinforcement in over molded onto the base member to improve the structural integrity of the living hinge.
