HYBRID NANOREINFORCED LINER FOR MICROWAVE OVEN
A liner for a crisp plate includes ceramic nanoparticles and a polymer material combined with the ceramic nanoparticles to provide a mixture. A network of carbon nanotubes is embedded within the mixture to form a composite matrix, wherein the carbon nanotubes are unidirectionally aligned within the composite matrix.
Method for manufacturing resin sheet, resin sheet, method for manufacturing structural body, structural body, and airframe of aircraft
A method for manufacturing a resin sheet includes a coating step; a heating step; and a pressurizing step. In the coating step, linear metal nanomaterial is coated on a surface of a resin film having thermal plasticity. In the heating step, the resin film having the linear metal nanomaterial coated on the surface thereof is heated and softened. In the pressurizing step, the resin film having the linear metal nanomaterial coated on the surface thereof is pressurized to press the linear metal nanomaterial along a direction orthogonal to the surface on which the linear metal nanomaterial is coated. Thus, the coated linear metal nanomaterial penetrates the resin film to obtain the resin sheet containing the linear metal nanomaterial.
System for additive manufacturing using thin-film material
A system is disclosed for additively manufacturing a structure. The system may include a feeder configured to feed a thin-film material through the system, and a cutter configured to cut out of the thin-film material a pattern associated with a shape of the structure at a particular layer within the structure. The system may also include a placer configured to place the pattern in at least one of a desired location and a desired orientation.
ELECTRIC LIQUID-HEATING DEVICE, AND USE OF SAME AND OF A HEAT CONDUCTOR
An electrical fluid heater, in particular water heater, preferably for a motor vehicle, including at least one fluid accommodating container and at least one heating conductor having a conductive polymer structure, for heating fluid, in particular water, accommodated in the fluid accommodating container.
Electrothermal heater mat
In manufacturing an electrothermal heater mat, there is provided a preform which comprises a laminated stack of dielectric layers which are made of thermoplastic material and include a central layer or group of layers which include(s) reinforcement and first and second outer groups of layers which do not include reinforcement. The preform includes a heater element and the preform has a first configuration. The preform is then heated to a temperature (e.g. 180° C.) between the glass-transition temperature of the thermoplastic material and the melting point of the thermoplastic material, and the heated preform is formed into a second configuration which is different to the first configuration so as to produce the heater mat.
Method for fabricating porous ceramic heating body
A method for fabricating a porous ceramic heating body, and a method of fabricating a heating body. The method for fabricating includes, in sequence, mixing, ball-milling, defoaming, molding, and drying, pore-forming agent discharging, sintering, and electrode leading. The whole method is simple, and by using a box furnace to sinter the green body under an oxidizing atmosphere and normal pressure, the fabricated ceramic heating body is heated uniformly and the heating efficiency is high.
Additive manufacturing system for fabricating custom support structure
An additive manufacturing system is disclosed. The additive manufacturing system may include a plate having a plurality of print heads arranged in a grid and each configured to discharge a curable material, and at least one shuttle having a plurality of print heads arranged in a row and each configured to discharge a curable material. The additive manufacturing system may also include at least one cure enhancer associated with at least one of the plate and the at least one shuttle. The at least one cure enhancer may be configured to cure the curable material as the curable material is being discharged. The additive manufacturing system may further include at least one actuator configured to move at least one of the plate and the at least one shuttle during discharge of the curable material.
Additive manufacturing system and method for discharging coated continuous composites
A system is disclosed for additively manufacturing a composite structure. The system may include a print head configured to receive a continuous reinforcement, and at least one of a matrix jet and a matrix bath configured to wet the continuous reinforcement with a liquid matrix during passage through the print head. The system may also include a coating mechanism configured to dispense at least one of metallic and ceramic particles onto the wetted continuous reinforcement during passage through the print head, and at least one cure enhancer configured to at least one of cure the liquid matrix and cause the at least one of metallic and ceramic particles to coalesce around the continuous reinforcement. The system may further include a support configured to move the print head in multiple dimensions during discharging.
THERMAL TRANSFER PANEL SYSTEM
A thermal transfer panel is provided, wherein the thermal transfer panel is vacuum formed from separate precursor sheets to form an integral thermal transfer panel. The integral thermal transfer panel defines both fluid flow channels and an interconnecting web, wherein the interconnecting web defines a structure or fastening beam for accommodating fasteners than can retain the thermal transfer panel relative to a building structure, such as a joist. The thermal transfer panel includes surface indicia to allow an installer to determine the location of at least one of the fluid flow channel and the interconnecting web in the thermal transfer panel. Traditional flooring can be fastened to the thermal transfer panel without damaging the integrity of the fluid flow channel.
RESIN MEMBER, METHOD FOR PRODUCING RESIN MEMBER AND HEAT STORAGE BODY
A resin member contains a copolymer of ethylene and an olefin having 3 or more carbon atoms, and a fatty acid ester.
