A manually operated press comprising an actuating member coupled to a shaft, wherein an actuation of the actuating member is converted into a stroke movement of a press ram coupled to the shaft, and hence also into a change in a relative position of the press ram. The press furthermore comprises a reset mechanism for resetting the actuating member, which reset mechanism counteracts the actuation of the actuating member and causes a return movement of the press ram opposite the stroke movement. The reset mechanism comprises a spiral spring.

A filter press is disclosed for separating solid components from liquid components of a slurry. The filter press includes side beams and a plurality of filter plates oriented at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the side beams. The filter plates are adapted to move along the side beams. A stationary end is arranged on one end of the side beams and a movable head is adapted to transport the filter plates along the side beams. The filter press includes a press system adapted to exert a closing pressure on the filter plates to press the filter plates against each other. The press system further includes at least one electrically driven actuator adapted to generate an axially directed force on the filter plates by means of the movable head. The disclosure also relates to a method for separating the solid components from the liquid components of a slurry.

The FPC flattening jig includes a pressurization mechanism and a heating mechanism; a bottom of the pressurization mechanism has a planar base surface which is used to contact a warped FPC to exert pressure thereon; the heating mechanism is used to heat the pressurization mechanism, such that the planar base surface of the pressurization mechanism has a predefined temperature when exerting pressure on the FPC. The FPC flattening jig heats the pressurization mechanism by a heating mechanism, and then the heated planar base surface of the pressurization mechanism contacts the warped FPC and exerts pressure thereon. Therefore, the FPC can be flattened. As such, the FPC can be reused, facilitating the improvement on the recycling rate of FPC.

Two vertical hydraulic cylinders are arranged on an upper beam plate of a press machine body, and the two hydraulic cylinders correspond to workbenches at corresponding positions in a one-to-one correspondence, constituting left and right working units, and a common mechanical drive unit and a common hydraulic drive unit are set for the left and right working units. The mechanical driving unit is composed of a driving motor through an electromagnetic clutch, an electromagnetic brake and lead screw nut driving mechanism driven by a gear pair. According to the load profiles during the working process of hydraulic press machine, the mechanical driving unit or the hydraulic driving unit are selected to provide energy for the two working units. A control method for the press machine, a press machine execution system and a control method for the press machine execution system are further involved.

A press frame assembly includes a base plate, a load cell, and an overload protection element; a first plate, a plurality of guideposts disposed on the base plate; a plurality of springs disposed on the plurality of guideposts, a displacement transducer arranged to monitor a linear displacement of the first plate, and a controller, in communication with the load cell and the displacement transducer. The first plate is disposed to translate on the plurality of guideposts, and wherein the springs are disposed to urge movement of the first plate in relation to the base plate. The load cell is arranged to monitor a load exerted upon the base plate. The controller generates a signal that is based upon the load exerted upon the base plate or the linear displacement of the first plate in relation to the base plate.
