A press system capable of achieving a reduced number of man-hours required for generation of a motion is provided. A controller automatically generates a press motion based at least on a feed-allowable height, a touch position, and a work end position, automatically generates a feeder motion based at least on a feed-allowable height and a feed length, and automatically generates a synthesized motion by synthesizing the press motion and the feeder motion.

PRESS DRIVE COMPRISING TWO WORKING AREAS
The invention relates to a press drive for a press or a press having a press drive. The invention also relates to a method for controlling the press drive by means of a control unit. The press drive is used for moving a ram of the press in a stroke direction H between an upper return point OT and a lower return point UT. It comprises a knee lever gear having a first lever and a second lever. A connecting rod engages on the knee lever of the two levers and is connected on the other end to an eccentric of an eccentric drive. The control unit can drive the eccentric drive in a first operating mode B1 or a second operating mode B2 or, in particular, also a third operating mode B3. In the first and the second operating modes B1, B2, the eccentric oscillates in a respectively different angle region W1, W2 about a rotation axis D of the eccentric drive, thus resulting in different force and movement states of the ram in both operating modes.
Press drive comprising two working areas
The invention relates to a press drive for a press or a press having a press drive. The invention also relates to a method for controlling the press drive by means of a control unit. The press drive is used for moving a ram of the press in a stroke direction H between an upper return point OT and a lower return point UT. Provided is a servo press machine having a configuration that allows miniaturization of the servo press machine, and a motor using the same. A servo press machine includes a servomotor, a crankshaft rotated by driving of the servomotor, a connecting rod connected to an eccentric portion of the crankshaft, and a slide connected to the connecting rod, wherein two connecting rods are connected to the crankshaft, the servomotor is an axial gap motor, a rotor of the axial gap motor is assembled with the crankshaft between the two connecting rods, and a stator of the axial gap motor is fixed to a crown in which the crankshaft is housed.

A cam-type press apparatus includes a lower die, an upper die corresponding to the lower die and provided to be vertically movable, a cam base configured on a first die among the lower die and the upper die, at least one cam block provided on the cam base, a slide base configured on a second die among the lower die and the upper die, a cam slide in cam-contact with the cam base and slidably provided on the slide base, and a plurality of wear plates provided in contact with each other between the cam base and the cam slide and between the slide base and the cam slide, where at least one first pair of wear plates among the plurality of wear plates is in point-contact or line-contact with each other.

A press machine includes a storage unit configured to store moving image data captured by an imaging unit disposed at a position configured to allow the imaging unit to capture an image of a press die area, an image extraction unit configured to extract, from a group of still images forming the moving image data, a monitoring target image with reference to a position of a slide in the image or a state of a material to be processed, and an image monitoring unit configured to perform image monitoring based on the monitoring target image and to output a monitoring result.
Press apparatus
A compact press apparatus is provided that is capable of assuring the acceptability of a pressing, and in which the pressing location tends not to be restricted. Such a press apparatus includes a frame (1, 77) and a servopress (31, 50, 60, 101). A servomotor (33, 52, 62, 103) is provided within a first frame part (11, 17, 19, 79) or within a connecting-frame part (15, 83). At least a portion of a power-transmission mechanism (40, 56, 66, 90, 110) is provided within the first frame part (15, 83).

Thermoforming Apparatus and Method
A thermoforming apparatus is provided having a frame, a pair of opposed platens, a toggle shaft, a kinematic linkage, a form air manifold, and a pair of articulating bearing assemblies. The pair of opposed platens is carried by the frame each with a die, one die configured to engage an opposed face of another die across a heated sheet of thermoformable material in sealed relation there between. The toggle shaft is carried by the frame for rotation. The kinematic linkage is coupled between the toggle shaft and one of the dies. The form air manifold and a source of differential pressure is coupled with a die face on one of the dies. The pair of articulating bearing assemblies is carried by the frame and configured to support the at least one toggle shaft for translation towards and away from the another die and platen. A method is also provided.
